I wanted to write how bad was the onion on the pizza (even fresh it looks sparguetti and cut the taste), wanted to say how inneficient was the staff (i had 3 people taking care of me occasionally), croud and noisy, or to advice you to come very early otherwise you will wait ages (yes, locals love to dress great... Although we had our table quickly and service was extremely fast, the buzz about the food was a let down. Starting with "garlic bread" which was nothing more that a cheese and garlic pizza, cut in pieces (not really bread). The pizza itself was good but not the best pizza as mentioned on several reviews. The "champagne sangria" was mostly... More

Pizzarte is a success case business in Aveiro. Over the last 20 years this restaurant has managed to stay among the best ones and the reason is simple: quality! For a very fair price you can get fresh pizzas made with fresh ingredients. Plus you can choose from a wide menu of pizzas and both salty or sweet creps. Pizzarte... More

Modern looking and clean atmosphere, can get pretty crowded and noisy, smoke and smoke-free areas connect so you are still breathing cigarette smoke. The bar area is nice and small (on the smoking side). Staff is friendly but not very efficient (they don't keep track of the order that tables are seated). It was very crowded and we waited for... Not at all what we'd expected when we'd been pointed here from the tourist board. "Excellent" and "always busy" very often indicate pretentious, but this is very much a family restaurant. Good, cheap, italian food served by helpful multi-lingual staff. When you've finished eating you can take the remains of your wine to the smoking zone, which seems to double... More

Table of five. Garlic bread and panne di pizza for appetizers and pizza (the small size) for the main dish, sangria and beer for drinks. The pizzas were top-notch and the value-price was amazing! (from what i heard this restaurant used to be a lot pricier). End up paying 9.70 per person. Would highly recommend.

When we visited Aveiro, lovely and peacefull little city, the guy in the hotel told us that we should try two restaurants in town: Pizzarte & O Bairro. Pizzarte is a modern Italian food style restaurante. Good ambience, modern design, and a good service makes this place a good visit. Oh, and the pizzas are great too. Frank

A busy place full of young people. Simple stylish decor and young very professional staff serving excellent pizzas and pasta. Pizzas are available in two sizes and there is plenty of choice. Excellent bar, good place to wait when there is a queue. The Maitre D' controls the waiting list with the precision of Big Ben!

Had lunch here last week. The restaurant was very busy, mostly with a young crowd. Seat yourself, we had Lasagne and Calzone, both were excellent, piping hot. The decor is basically all white, hard surfaces, so there is a lot of noise, alright for a busy lunchtime but not for intimate dining. Service was quick and attentive. Ideal for a... More

One of the best places to eat pizzas and pasta in the Aveiro region. Great ambient and service. Recommended.
