We really enjoyed this restaurant and for the most part were the only foreign people there. Food was good and reasonable. Very clean and good service. A lot of local take out which is popular on this Island. Would recommend giving a try.

The food was simple. Grilled tuna and veal. There were veggies and salad. No sauces or flavour combos. The food felt clean, nothing that would make you wonder later why you ate it. The room itself was charming with the blue and white Portuguese tiles. We will likely return to this place.

We went to Casa Marisca before our flight home for lunch. Wow! We both ordered the grilled swordfish. The meals were beautifully presented with a large swordfish fillet, boiled potatoes, salad, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. It had just the right seasonings of garlic and olive oil. This restaurant was recommended to us by the concierge at The Lince Hotel. It... More

Seemed like a smaller mom and pop restaurant that the locals hang out at. The fish was excellent here, but same as everywhere else we went to it lacked any seasoning or salt/pepper. The swordfish and shark steak was the best fish we had on the island.

A recommendation from our hotel, (the Linces) this was a great restaurant for a casual but delicious dinner. We selected the Rockfish and the Comber and had them grilled whole. The fish was grilled to perfection and served with simply cooked vegetables. The couple at the next table ordered Limpets for an appetizer and Squid for a main course. They... More

We found this place from a sign on the side of a building. Decided to take a chance on a Friday night. We were a little taken aback when they asked if we had a reservation as the place was empty. The sat us down and within 20 minutes the place was packed. A small and crammed atmosphere but well... More

We been in Ponta Delgada, aaived late ours and the hotel recommend Casa Marisca. We´ve been served dinner at 23H00, and the meat and the meal was really fine and cheap. There we understand that they have a lot of fish to choose and since that night we came over and over again. Everything was fine, tastefull, and cheap (plenty... More

We went for dinner after seeing a sign on our walk down to the city centre. Felt like seafood and sounded like this was the place. The tables were set with bread and butter and while we were looking at menus, a plate with a triangle of cheese came out. We assumed this was customary so just ate it, but... More
