We saw this restaurant from the road that runs along the ocean. Looked it up on Tripadvisor and figured we would give it a try since it had a four star review. We stood there for a minute even after they saw us standing there and then pointed to where we should sit. When the waitress finally arrived she was... More

This restaurant is a must when visiting Ponta Delgado. It is a bit out of the city center but well worth it. Staff are friendly and at least one or two speak English. All seafood is freshly caught and dishes are plentiful. The fresh bread, cheese and olives they bring to the table before you order are delicious. This restaurant... More

Recommended by our local host for its fish specialties, this was certainly one of the best restaurants we visited during our Azores trip. We had a mixed grill with fish of the day, which left nothing more to desire. Excellent food and service.

Before you order anything, they bring out Bread, Olives and two Cheeses ( they charge you for 2/3 out of these), Main courses are plentiful and well priced and at the end they offer a free drink of Aguadente and something else.

Not IN city centre, which is better, as its not so touristy.. Lots of locals, which is always a good sign, and by the time were done eating, the lineup was huge, and we could see why After 3 days of venturing around city centre, where we stayed, and having standard type restaurants that you expect, catered to tourists, this... We had a great time at this restaurant. Great food. The meat was very tender and the each meal was excellent. Particularly liked the pork on a skewer. The staff were very helpfull and gave us compementary liquers at the end.

We were tipped off on Mariserra by one of our top notch bartenders while staying at the Sao Miguel Park hotel. During our 7 day visit we dined here twice, and each night was a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant is tidy and clean and the seafood was fresh and expertly prepared. My wife had steak, which was tender and... More

We discovered this restaurant accidentally, but never regretted eating there. The food and service was really good even if we have to wait for some time. We were amazed by the appearance of our food, it was pleasant for our eyes as well as our taste buds. The view was really nice facing the sea. All together it was a... More

Twice went to the restaurant and were shocked by the poor service twice. But this is probably explained by the bad work of management: lots of tables and a lot of visitors, and the waiters are sorely lacking. They are few and seems they are really trying, but can not well serve too many guests. Therefore, there are many difficulties... More

We came here on the advise of the front desk at our hotel The LInce. It is in the village of S. Roque 2 Km from the marina, but we had a car so it worked. The restaurant looks out over the ocean. The waiter recommended the mixed fish grill, which consisted of 4 different fish rice & vegetables. We... More
