A restaurant that has earned its own prestige through quality and service. The food is truly excellent and service is efficient and extremely courteous. Open view into the ocean helps the quiet and lovely atmosphere. Good wine selection.

We were early for dinner but that did not detract from the enjoyment of this meal. The staff was good. We ordered beef tenderloin with rice and beans and shrimp stuffed squid with salad and potatoes. The beef was perfect and the rice and beans were delicious. This was a new dish for us. The stuffed squid was tender and... More

We spent 10 days on the island and this was one of the very best meals we had. My husband and I started with cheese, olives and bread which were delicious. My husband had the traditional bean and tenderloin. The beans and rice were amazing and the steak was tender and cooked perfectly. I had the traditional pork steak and... More

Make this place part of your dining plans, make sure you make a reservation - ask for an outdoor table, worth the views!! Some of the best seafood you'll have! 3 of us dining - we got a few dishes and shared. We let the owner make suggestions and were not disappointed!! I am picky and appreciated them taking my... Had the scabbard fish and it was excellent. The service was fast, they speak English and the place is clean.

We saw this restaurant from the road that runs along the ocean. Looked it up on Tripadvisor and figured we would give it a try since it had a four star review. We stood there for a minute even after they saw us standing there and then pointed to where we should sit. When the waitress finally arrived she was... More

This restaurant is a must when visiting Ponta Delgado. It is a bit out of the city center but well worth it. Staff are friendly and at least one or two speak English. All seafood is freshly caught and dishes are plentiful. The fresh bread, cheese and olives they bring to the table before you order are delicious. This restaurant... More

Recommended by our local host for its fish specialties, this was certainly one of the best restaurants we visited during our Azores trip. We had a mixed grill with fish of the day, which left nothing more to desire. Excellent food and service.

Before you order anything, they bring out Bread, Olives and two Cheeses ( they charge you for 2/3 out of these), Main courses are plentiful and well priced and at the end they offer a free drink of Aguadente and something else.

Not IN city centre, which is better, as its not so touristy.. Lots of locals, which is always a good sign, and by the time were done eating, the lineup was huge, and we could see why After 3 days of venturing around city centre, where we stayed, and having standard type restaurants that you expect, catered to tourists, this...
