They put together a five course menu for New Years including welcome cocktail, unlimited wine and champagne at midnight. The atmosphere is lovely, cozy but... More

We were in Ponta Delgalda during slow season but we found this place on trip advisor and decided to try it. WOW!!! We had pumpkin soup, which melted in my mouth and we both had the beef tenderloin. We both agreed not only was it the best place in town but maybe the best place we have ever eaten! We... More

For our last evening in Ponta Delgado, we selected this restaurant based upon it's good overall reviews and very much for the fact we could enjoy some live jazz music. We walked through the rainy weather to arrive and find they do not have any music on Saturday nights. The live music is only Wednesday and Friday nights. It seems... More

We ate twice at Colegio 27 on our Thanksgiving week vacation on Sao Miguel. The food is very nicely prepared. We enjoyed the beef tenderloin, the big eye tuna, and the seafood risotto. The brownie with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel dessert is a nice cap to a meal. The wine list is very interesting and our server (whose... More

We had several great evenings in Colegio 27 - either dropping in en route back the hotel for a night cap, sitting reading a book and relaxing at the bar with a back drop of beautiful live music, or having the best meal we ate on Sao Miguel. We liked it so much we even chose to eat here on... More

Came here for a festive dinner and jazz music. The restaurant has a beautiful modern interior with exposed stone walls and lots of light. As the menu changes daily, it was presented to us by our server on a chalk board. He explained all menu items in detail and answered all questions we had very nicely. All ingredients were fresh... Ponta Delagda isn't exactly a hot spot for night life or live music but there are a few places like this one. We saw a Brazillian Jazz guitarist/singer (Andre) who was very good. We sat at the bar and had some local wines and a couple of seafood appetizers that were delicious. It's a lot more money than many places... More

Food has come cold, very slow service. Overpriced for the service we were provided. Do not know if we will return
