Friendly staff, Good food.

The restaurant is a bit of a way from the centre of town, but if you are staying near then it's worth a visit. We were the only tourists all the other diners seemed to be locals. Food was acceptable and the service was good. Price was average.

A very special place and a must for special occasions. Quite expensive, but worth a visit! I will never understand the local habit of serving cheese together with sweet jam as a starter, but both was of good quality. Excellent white local wine, solid squid, desert a little disappoing: Caramelized pineapple with vanilla ice cream came with a caramel sauce... More

The food: varied, great quality ingredients and an array of recipes that make your choice deliciously difficult! The fish is always fresh, straight from the Atlantic Ocean and the meat comes from the local cows, which you can see grazing in the green pastures around the island. Try the "Bife na Pedra" (steak on a hot stone), which is a... More

Take your waiter's recommendation as they know what is most fresh and best overall. Don't be distracted by the quirky decor.

Came here at the recommendation of our tour guides. They have a huge menu selection (including vegetarian options). Service was fantastic - they spoke English well. My husband said his steak was delicious. My pasta was just ok, but I enjoyed the experience.

So 4 sep ppl at my hotel recommended this place and the tripadvisor reviews were good, so we decided to go. I booked a reservation via email and they responded in adequate time - very good so far. Our waiter was great and the atmosphere elegant. We began with shrimp, followed by a great tenderloin steak and grilled squid. Dinner... More

Sao Pedro, is a cute little traditional restaurant at the top of the hill in Ponta Delgada across from Sao Pedro church. There are lots of choices on the menu and everything my husband and I have tried in 3 visits was very good. Service was efficient as well. You need to reserve in advance to get a table because... The staff is very friendly. The food is excellent, specially the steak and the octopus. The restaurant`s decoration is all about azores.

We ate at many different places during our time in the Azores and none were as good as the food at this restaurant. There were so many different options for dinner it was hard to choose but I went with the seafood puff pastry. My husband had the roasted octopus/shrimp/sausage combo. Delicious! All of it.

This was the second time this month I have eaten here. It was better than ever. One of the waiters did forget to bring us our water. But the wine and food more than made up for it. When you were in Ponta Del Gato this place cannot be toppedv
