Perfect place for a bit of quiet time

Delicious cakes and very refreshing ice tea. Perfect for a rest on a hot day. Sit in the lovely breezy shady garden.

This is a very nice place with a wonderful garden and great selection of tea. However, compared to the average price you pay in this area it is overprized. We had two cups of tea and two slices of cakes and paid 12 Euros.

Best ice tea ever! A mix of flavoursome herbs and no sugar nor sweetener. We also had some chocolate cake with ice cream and a mozzarella sandwich. All bread and cakes were home made and tasty. Stunning garden and a cosy house with weird and wonderful design which consists of a circular shaped building within a normal building. Lots of... More

I was only in Horta for a night on a layover and this little tea shop surely impressed. I had a full pot of green tea that one of the employee's helped me pick out. I then got a salmon/ cream cheese/ cucumber sandwich on homemade bread that came with potato chips and then I finished with a piece of... More

With 150 different teas we had to visit at least once but this was no hardship.Whether a cafe or restaurant or tea house you can eat here and leave happy. It is not a restaurant but they create a delicious range of open sandwiches and there is also soup, so they cover most meals. The gin is also excellent so evening cocktails... We had to visit on this trip as we had such a pleasant time the year before. A big thank you to the owners for making us feel so welcome. It was really nice to see you again.

We were introduced to Casa cha back in 2009 and fell in love with the place. We are regulars every summer and highly recommend it to all our friends. Food, cakes, teas and the gin and tonic are to die for. D. Maria and Eugenio are some of the nicest people you'll meet on the island. We had a private... More

I had read about 'Casa' on Tripadvisor, and it was written by a previous traveller, that would have gone here often, if they had not first found the place the night before their departure, so I did as told, and they were right! I bought a double espresso, jug of tea, piece of cake, glass of Kima and two sandwiches... More
