I visited this place twice for dinner. And also it was the first restaurant I've tried in Horta. The first time I ordered half fried mackerels with veg salad,no potato(too small appetite)which was sooooo tasty! And had passion fruit ice cream as desert. And the second time I had grilled red fish with salad, the fish was unfortunately over cooked on... More

This is a good choice for basic Azorean food. This modest establishment has classic local fare, with an emphasis on seafood. All was well prepared, and is standard Azorean: meat or fish, a small salad, potatoes and rice. Most all of the patrons were locals. If it is genuine local food you seek, decently made, at a reasonable price, this... More

Restaurant with local dishes of the Azores. Nice place to sit, but you must have patience. The people are friendly and do what they can, but if the place is crowded, you have to wait your turn. Regarding the food, we choose something we didn't know (Portugese language troubles). It was ok, but in this case we took a risk.... More

This was the first restaurant we chose for dinner, the menu attracted us for the variety of local dishes. My boyfriend had the Morea eel and I had a grilled fish. The food was good and the prices were in keeping with the rest of the island. The starter blood sausage was excellent! All in all a very good evening... More

The simple and friendly place will let you plased. Generous portions and friendly staff are a must. You won't find fancy food but it's well made

Cosy restaurant, also frequented by local people. Good explanation (with the help of a book about the fish of the Azores) about the food. Friendly staff.

Opposite the Santander Totta bank, this restaurant offers good, friendly service and excellent local produce with a wide choice of fish and meat. Tourists are given a book on Azorean fish to help decipher the menu.
