Maybe we were unlucky, but the staff was very unfriendly: no greetings, no smiles (the place was EMPTY). We wanted a crêpe called "baleeira" which has seafood in and we got a so called pizza (actually it was a baguette) which had the same name "baleeira" with totally different ingredients. We hadn't noticed that these two different dishes had the... More

Friendly bar staff, good mix of drinks and felt like we were locals. Not sure what it was called, but ask for the shots covered with Absinthe as it makes a great photo when set on fire! Enjoy

Had 2 great nights out here in September. we were given a few free drinks and the cocktails are superb. Chatted to the owner who clearly knows how to run a good bar. Head down here later on in the evening though, as things don't start kicking off in Sagres till quite late!

We stopped here for breakfast having a full english and a crepe with freshly pressed fruit juices. The food was lovely as were the juices. Very reasonably priced.

Had a drink before dinner on Thursday and Friday and on both times, a different bartender insisted to offer us another round for free! The bar was very quiet at around 7pm but we were told to come back at 11pm for a special night on Friday. And it was special indeed: the bar was now packed with a mix... More

We went to Ahua Salgada for a quick drink yesterday and it is a nice little place with good vibes manifested in the decor and overall atmosphere of the place. Unfortunately, and I must say at this point that we may have come at a bad time, it seemed as though the staff was busy with other things than serving... More

Louis and the boys made our holiday. My new fiancé and I spent 6 nights in Tonel and 2 in this bar. The first night we went way too early (8-ish) and the staff were eating the local delicacy of percebas (goose barnacles) A big plate was put in front of us to share witht e owner immediately and great... This place is wicked!!! The best bar in Sagres, they make the BEST long island iced tea! The music is always pumping, it is always packed... It has a great vibe and is the best place to go on a weekend out in the Algarve. Staff are brilliant and highly entertaining... Some nights there has even been live music. I... More
