Great selection of food for main courses - the selection of deserts isn't that great. The staff are really friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed, family and couple friendly. I've been here many times and I am consistently pleased.

Recommended to me by some Sagres locals. Very good pizzas for 5 euros (also do them as take away but don't have menu on their website). Good range of other 'family' options (pastas, burgers, fish etc.). Food is good but not spectacular (which is what the restaurant is about given cheap price). Mix or indoor and outdoor dining. Very informal... More

We found the Bossa Nova through the staff at the Pousada. It specializes in pizza and other Italian food. Our server, Michelle was extremely friendly and efficient. We chatted with her quite a bit and she really added to our overall experience. I highly recommend this spot. It is a bit hard to find because it is not visible from... More

We ate here twice on our two week holiday. The main part of the restaurant is a barn conversion with a nice pleasant, relaxed atomsphere. As we were visiting in late May/early June, the place (like most restaurants) was quiet and we had no problem getting a table. The menu had enough options for us to make two visits. The... More

We happened to visit here by accident whilst looking for somewhere that opens early for dinner. The place looks a bit dodgy but it was friendly enough. Fish was good, didn't enjoy the pizzas, cheese had a funny taste& smell. Definitely overpriced for what you get, Colours were provided for the kids but didn't get the impression they were welcome... I had a nice pizza, A good (wholemeal) pizza base with a fab 4 cheese topping, A welcoming atmosphere. Possibly a little overpriced but decent food and good, friendly service.

A fairly extensive pizza menu (with several vegetarian options) with friendly and fairly efficient service let down by pizza crusts which are rolled not thrown and then overcooked.

We found Bossa Nova almost by chance as the poster for the place sits at the entrance to a bar. Anyway, it's worth looking for as the prices are reasonable and the food - or at least the pasta that we had, was gorgeous. It's not a particularly attractive looking venue as it sits at the back of some shops... More

Excellent Pizzas and wine. Popular so had to wait a while for order to be taken but then food arrived without to long a wait.
