Situated in the centre of town with a slightly noisy terrace that gives on to one of the main streets, this restaurant is a must for seafood lovers. The tone is given once you enter the restaurant; presentation of the day's fresh fish and shellfish and a welcome by their highly professional friendly team of waiters. For those who haven't... More

Excellent for fish and seafood, or try their shrimp curry! A real non touristy portugese restaurant as reviewed by many guide books. The front window display of fish on ice is very impressive,

Excellent food here, mostly fish, both in shells and and without, cooked simply or in traditional rice based stews. We had a banquet, starting with prawns with hot buttered toast and alioli, and simply boiled. Then percebes for all, goose barnacles in English. Simply delicious. Then baby mackerel, a whole crab, a large grilled john dory, cataplana which is a... More

It is famous for, and deliver excellent seafood from shellfish to all kind of rare fish. We had Perceves and Peixe Rasgado, barnacles and a variety of Scorpion fish. Fantastic fish, and at a fair price, considering the quality of the food. Very friendly and professional staff! highly recommended to lovers of seafood.

We had a very delicious dinner here. Prauns in garlic and then two very nice lobsters to share for the four of us. Two bottles of a tastful vine and then really delicious desserts with caffe latte. The service and atmosfear is fantastic and as usal, if it tast itcost. 350 euro! But i'll still rekommend it.

If you want to enjoy real good portuguese food this is the right place. Very nice staff, fresh fish and seafood and reasonable prices. Dont miss it! My recommendation is the cataplana de cherne.

MARISQUEIRA CARVI, PORTIMAO Have been coming here for 7-8 years. The seafood is still tasty after all these years and super fresh in this restaurant, which is 200-300 metres from town centre to the North and 200-300 metres from the riverfront to the West. Even if you do not like fresh fish, shellfish or other seafood, they have meat alternatives.... More
