Stunning views.

A really amazing setting, especially at sunset. Very windy though so be prepared. Our 1st visit food was excellence, the 2nd not so good with a very sullen waiter. It was very busy though.

Tried the squid and the vitel but the food was only ok. The view is excelent but not worth the trip nor the money you pay for the food. We could say that this is a tipical case of living from the fame syndrom.

The views are worth the trip but the service is slow. Don't order the hamburger, it was inedible, two naked burgers that hardly taste of meat. They were definitely frozen. Peri peri prawns weren't good either (only three big ones served). Flan wasn't good either. The Bacalao someone else ordered was good and so was the coffee. Would be back... More

Very scenic restaurant with amazing view from the terrace. Unfortunately on the evening we went, it was very windy, which made our food cool down very quickly, as we sat outside on the terrace. The couverts were superb, a ham on the bone which the waiter cut fresh for you, cheese and fresh olives. If you have this, you will... More

This restaurant is worth a drive up from the coast. My wife, baby daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at this hilltop restaurant with stunning views. The care taken by the staff to welcome and look after our baby was hugely appreciated. Both the service and the food were superb; I have rarely tasted meat so tender. Prices are... More

Well, we did not expect such ending to our stay in Lagos. I read a review on Lonely Planet and here and black pork is tough to beat. You must try it. This is a great restaurant with decent prices.

I had the wild boar stew with chestnuts and it was the best meal I had on our holiday. The meat fell off the bone when you cut it and was full of flavor. It came with deep fried sweet potatoes and rice and complemented the stew perfectly. I really want to come back to try one of their other... More

After an afternoon in Lagos with cliffs and beaches, we drove all the way to Monchique. It was really worth it, with a spectacular view and great food. We ate wild boar, with chestnuts. Lots of meat, so we got a doggie bag for leftovers. The kids had hamburger, but not the ordinary way. No bread, and with two types... More

Superb view from the restaurante adds to a relaxing experience. Amazing value and high quality of food and service. Staff present the cuts of meat and catch of the day to you at the table, nice touch. Quantity, you will not leave hungry and everything is cooked to perfection. Try the traditional Portuguese dishes they are especially good. Book in... More
