Chicken Piti piri

Cheap and cheerful but great chicken piri piri. Bread olives, cheese, chicken, salad and chips, wine just over 10 euros, although it does depend on the amount of wine you drink . 😀😄

We visited on the recomendation of a freind and weren't disappointed - good basic food, well cooked, great prices and served well in nice clean and cheerful surroundings. It will be hard to go to the market on Saturday and NOT call in here for lunch....could be habbit forming!

On the way into Loule from Sao Bras on the right before you get to the avenida. Typical Portuguese restaurant. Food generally all good - like all places very occasionally you get an 'off day'. Chickens good but I generally go for lamb chops - You get about 7 and its as cheap to eat them there as it is... More

Good bread with cheese, pate and olives. The chicken was very good and served with salad and fries. The chicken is great value at €4.50. The service was somewhat lacking. Had to ask twice on a number of occasions. Service was not with a smile !!!!!

The place was packed when we visited on a Saturday night, luckily a friend had booked. Couvert was traditional, olives well marinated plus a nice bit of cheese which was not expensive. I was a bit fearful when the chicken piri piri turned up as it looked like the sauce was very, very hot, and being a bit of a... More

There are 2 reasons for dining here. First the prices. Very good value for money. Secondly in my opinion it serves the best chicken piri-piri in the Algarve. This would also explain why this restaurant is always busy.

We were trying to find somewhere to eat that was not very expensive. We had passed this restaurant a number of time and decided to give it a go. From the outside it does not look much, however on entering it is clean and tidy. The staff were attentive and took our order quickly. When the food turned up, there... More

Just love the food here, cheap, my opinion the best piri piri chicken ever, staff don't go out their way to welcome you, but, it's not the UK! Just enjoy

We tried this place off the back of rave reviews on TA. It was ok but nothing more. The chicken piri piri I had was tiny. I've never seen such skinny chickens. Service was just about ok. Value for money is good. We eat at Marufo regularly and a number of TA reviews claim Leonels is better food and cheaper.... More
