We all started relying on trip advisor too much, whatever restaurant has the highest numbers and reviews we go to. It actually becomes a disservice to smaller restaurants who don't get a chance to prove themselves sometimes. Understandably we got to there restaurant at peak time about 9 PM. We waited here for 1 hour…when we started to get impatient.... More

The desk clerk at our hotel suggested this restaurant on a quiet side street. We were tired and hungry after walking all over town. The restaurant opened fairly early and we able to be seated after only a short wait. The place was packed, but the service was very good. The portions were huge. Had a pasta with mushroom dish... Definatly worth visiting. Food is amazing complements to the chef. If you go there taste the clams they are really fresh and taste amazing with their sauce and also the chefs special Prawns seriously yummy :-) and the sauce is even yummier I could seriously drink it. Instead I have to have table manners and use the bread to dip... More

We eat here twice on the recommendation of the chap in the local wine shop. We avoided the wait for a table by making a reservation which are taken for tables up to 7 o'clock. Tables are close together in a small room. There was a great atmosphere which was added to by the very jovial chef working away at... More

Altought our food was very good and really in big portions the 1.5 hours we spent waiting for a table somehow diminish the whole experience.

I have visited this restaurant twice before, this is the first time I have reviewed it. I had a cover, soup and squid. All of which were excellent. The portions were very generous and very promptly served, too promptly ! The reason for this was obvious, I was a single customer without a reservation and they "squeezed" me in. I had... More

Recomended to us we were lucky enough not to be in an enormous queue as got there just after 8pm when the reservations were finishing their meals. Waited approx 15 mins. Anyway got seated and decided to order the Stronanoff mistake! The 'dustbin lid' of a plate was stacked to overflowing with rice, roasted potatoes and the beef. It could... More

The restaurant is simple, humble decoration, tables and glasses. But the food is delicious, the chef is very kind and talk to every remaining customer by the end of the night. Beef dished cost around €13 and two persons can get satisfied if you order some bread together. Cheap and good wines. I recommend the AT Vinho Verde for €11.50/bottle.... More

I asked several local store workers where to have good regional food. All said the same.. So we went. After ashore wait we were served with a huge portion.. They even told us that the 2 children should share a plate. My plate was amazing. But the best part was tech end.. The bill was incredible.. Never ate so well... More
