One of the first restaurants in Lagos that my hubby (Then my other half) took me. Although it did take us a long time to find it, as it is in the back streets of Lagos town. If your not there by 7pm expect to queue, so best to book, but if your late getting there, don't be surprised that... More

We heard great things about this place. Lined up from 7:15 the first night and didn't get in after a hour and gave up as nobody had even spoken to us. Went back the next night at 5:45 as they open at 6. Only to find they open late but we still couldn't get a table until 8pm and only... More

After 2 years we managed to come back again; still the same little restaurant with limited tables, almost the same recommended menu(this time has more different language versions), still having a long queue waiting outside(a lot longer than 2 years ago), what it didn't change is the quality of food! Secret shrimp remains secretly good, we had also shrimps and... More

1st time in my life I have waited for 2h in line to get seated. I was not dissapointed. Home style shrimps in secret recipe sauce will melt in your mouth. Advice: put your name on the list 1h-2h before you plan to eat and go grab a drink in a nearby bar, so you do not have to stand... More

Great place for the typical Portuguese dishes. Although a little stressful for the kids because it's a tiny restaurant the food makes up for all. Loved the Portuguese style prawns.

We saw the recommendation on Tripadvisor so booked table 2 days before. Their English was good but for some reason they could not find our booking when we turned up. This was clearly very frustrating and we had to wait in turn outside for an hour for a table (after the pre-bookings had come and gone) to come free. The... More

A place you cannot miss if your in Lagos or close by. Everything I love about dining: small restaurant, family run style, basic ambience, but fresh and marvellous food. Even the most basic sardine salad can be a joy. Best cataplana we've had in Portugal !! Unfortunately we had the shell and shrimp cataplana since the fish one needed a... More

The place to go to dinner in Lagos. Warning! Go before 7:30 pm or be prepared to wait… and wait… But after that, you’ll see that waiting is rewarded. Very typical Portuguese food, made on the moment by chef Luis (you see him cooking!). The quantity of food is incredible and definitely is enough for 2. Just go there!

Food was great, huge portions and very tasty. Service was very kind and efficient. Easily the best place we ate at in Lagos! Would definitely recommend.

Had lunch at this restaurant a month ago and didn't feel that it is very special despite the number of reviews on Tripadvisor - just huge dishes. Returned last night for dinner and it was awful, all 3 dishes we ordered were extremely salty, to the extent that we only managed to eat 2 spoonful each and had to give... More
