Tiny little place and we had to wait for our pre-booked (!) table for about 30min but the food was totally worth the wait. We had a seafood cataplana, it was delicious and the portions WERE huge. the restaurant wasn't to crowded we got in around 7 pm had the best starter Prawns House Special and i had a pepper steak the portions was huge i barely finished my steak !! good service 5 stars

We love this place, in particular for 'Prawns Piri-Piri' with fried potatoes. You must book even in Winter, it is always crowded which speaks well of the quality of the food.

Absolutely loved the food here! The prawns were great and the seafood and meat stew was fabulous! However, the stew is a massive portion so can easily be shared by two. Would definitely recommend this restaurant (which is a charming part of town) to everyone!

Deservedly a very popular restaurant specialising in local cuisine. Book ahead if you want to eat there. Ideal for young tourists who have big appetites and enjoy very good food. I suggest sharing courses between two or even three people if you dislike waste. Portions are huge!!!!.
