We were taken here by Portugese friend's and i have to say the whole evening was superb,my wife had fish,i had veal, the staff made us feel like we were in their home, the wine was great,i think the effort to find this restaurant and park will pay you back tenfold,(we did not leave until gone midnight)will go back in a heartbeat.

Spent 8 days in Lagos in May /June and visited here after reading reviews and my wife and I shared the fish stew and it was great, fresh fish and great service with nice genuine owner. Went back for 2nd time and we had different meals and just as good. Definitely go there. Also was there early so went to... More

The restaurant is outside of the Old City Walls and you could easily walk straight past it. However, to do so would be sheer folly as the food and service are both very good indeed. The seafood linguini is very good as are the Monkfish kebabs. I think the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food.

We have been recommended this restaurant for a while now and at last visited it in April. The staff are so very friendly. The food is very good, so good we returned two days later. The owner makes you feel really special and comes around an chats to you. My wife ate the seafood linguini which was just fabulous. I've... More

We went to this restaurant in Lagos , with friends who live in Lagos and what a treat it was.The owner was very concerned to serve the best possible fresh food, and even apologised for a slight delay, as he was so busy. We had a prawn and monk fish Brochette, which was extremely fresh and tasty , with huge... More

Our dear friend Kath, visiting from the UK, was celebrating a big birthday, & hadn't been to Prato Cheio so decided to take our recommendation, as we live locally. As the day was to be a Sunday, we called in the day before to book the table & said it was a birthday lunch. The whole event was a total... More

Our entire family celebrated my Son's 9th birthday in Praro Cheio, and let me tell you that my kids were treated like ROYALTY... The fresh seafood and grilled jumbo shrimps with fresh squeezed lemon was just phenomenal! All the kids had mimosas and all sort of colorful pop sodas and we had Sangria ( OMG) this is a REAL SANGRIA... More

We had a dinner at the place in the off-season, in February. The place was empty but that's understandable. We ordered a fish and a steak. both were made rather poorly (technique-wise) - but it was fresh, so I'll give them that. Prices are on the cheap side. Overall - we wouldn't come back.

Not easy to find this hidden spot. Sea food rice and the octopus both were realy excellent. Friedly people. Simple but good house wine, and, funny enough, no other wine available.... Good coffee, with a nice digestive offered by the house. Low price. We will be back.
