We went for an early lunch and the place was empty. We had a 9 month old with us so we thought that it was perfect that we were not disturbing anyone else's lunch. The service first of all was warm and welcoming, especially to our baby. The food then arrived and it was by far the best fish we... More

Just a few minutes walk from the Marina, past the railway station and boatyard, is thie place to come for delicious fresh fish and happy relaxed friendly service. Not "touristy", not "smart", but exactly what we were hoping for: delicious fresh grilled fish with patato and tomato salads, and crisp local white wine, then the homemade mango mousse for a... it may be a bit out of away-cross the footbridge and a 10 minute walk down by the rail station (understand in summertime a ferry crosses the 50 Mts. river sounds good and a good idea) but you will not be disappointed. excellent grilled fish, fresh ,etc . etc etc. you wont get better value,. if in lagos whether by... Whilst staying in Lagos we came upon a small Restaurant right at the Harbour entrance on the Marina Side. Wouldn't normally be somewhere I would eat, you go past the train station and stay right and you come across a smallish Restaurant that from the outside looks a little rough and ready. But inside its clean, spacious and the service... More

A basic hut in the sand dunes next to the fishing harbour across the river from the old town of Lagos. Great fresh fish in a totally unpretentious cafe, popular with locals. Good value. To drive there follow signs to railway station and keep to the right.

cool restaurant nice fish, fresh clams cooked simply and well, good wine, by the glass, very good value for money.good prawns. Situated amongst fisherman's sheds and shacks, stacked with lobster and crab pots, so no frills, authentic working fishermen around. We go often for lunch service is good and quick. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant

We went out of our way to come here, you have to walk past the boat repair yard and keep going and you will find it. Looks like nothing from outside but quite nice inside. I ordered the Barrigada fish special for one at €11 and my husband ordered the swordfish. When my plate arrived I couldn't believe it -... More

We ate here a couple of day ago, its on the other side of the river from the main town, the food was lovely, I had swordfish, my wife had sea bass, these were served with potatoes and a tomato salad, it was simple food but everything was cooked really well and packed with flavour.

This is the place to come for fish! For 11eur I had 6 pieces of fish, 4 different kinds. It was too much for one person. Sardines was especially good. Simple way of cooking but good taste. Nice feeling of eating by the habour.
