Another nice visit

Ate here after previously eating over the last couple of years. Food was very good, just wish there was a bit more of a selection of starter dishes but the covert is worth it. Went in to book a table for 8:30pm however was told could only book at 8...not sure why half an hour would matter. I had... read more

We had the clam and shrimp cataplana. It was good, lots of flavors and nice sauce great for dipping bread... yummy!! The portions are large and if you have room for dessert... share, as it's huge. Very busy in the summer much calmer off season. Lovely restored building worth taking a tour to see the work that was done to... More

We ate at Dom Sebastiao twice and on both occasions my wife was disappointed with her meal whilst I was very happy with mine. I had Kid in Red Wine and Seafood Rice. My wife had the Mixed Kebab on the first visit and neither she or I can remember what she had second time it was so forgettable. The... More

Staff weren't very helpful- quick, quick, quick. I paid 20 euro for the fresh crab - it was horrible. They basically mixed all the good meat into a tasteless sauce and it looked and tasted like mush. It looked like they'd removed half the good meat as it was basically a crab full of slush. No wonder the waiter didn't... More

We had lunch for six people, and the food and service could not be faulted. All had starters, main, and dessert, plus drinks over a 2-3 hour period. We were not rushed to finish our meals and the place is great to watch the world go by whilst enjoying the ambience and cuisine. Mains selected were meat and fish dishes and... More

Great service. Starter was great. Couple of veggie choices but not very exciting. Puddings a bit boring. Chocolate mousse was like angel delight. Good value for money

We had two very good evenings at Dom Sebastiao restaurant, very good food and excellent service. A little more expensive than others in Lagos but it is special .

My family and I visited this restaurant on a couple of occasions this week. My wife has a gluten allergy and the staff were very appreciative of this condition and ensured she had the right meal. A good mix of delicious fish dishes, mussels and shell fish along with the steak and two sauces, the mushroom one was my favourite.... More

We were lucky enough to get the last table outside but from the moment we sat down we felt as though the staff were looking down on us. We didn't want wine because my boyfriend wanted a beer and I wanted a juice. So that seemed to be a mark against us. We asked how much the sea bass for... More

I have eaten here many times over the years and is a very professionally run establishment. I have had a couple of disappointments over the years but not such that we would miss a visit for dinner. So this time I had the carapaccio of cod which was served with pomegranate and a fruit purée the purée was a step... More
