Have eaten here twice this week, the fish rice and pear avocado dishes are excellent. The restaurant has a fresh water spray/mister which lowers the temperature and keeps the flies at bay....really nice to sit out and watch the world go by over some really great food. Planning another visit this week before we go home...it will be the oysters... More

Ate lunch here 3 times last week, the food was so good. The pear/avocado and big crab salads were favourites. Can't wait to return

Excellent local Portuguese food. We had bread, starters and for main I had fish cataplana which was great and my partner had seafood rice which had more fish than he could manage. Would strongly recommend and can't wait to go back next time!

Really good traditional portuguese food and good service at reasonable prices. In addition to the regular dishes I had cod carpaccio which was a nice variation of the typical fish.

Recommended to us by friends we were impressed by the quality of the food , the pricing and friendly ( albeit slow ) service - excellent bread selection for starters , the Cataplana was lovely and the other fish dishes we had were well received ..... The ladies decided to have deserts and we were all given spoons luckily for... More

We have been to this restaurant many times on previous holidays and enjoyed the experience , however the most recent experience was anything but pleasurable, some of the staff were obviously stressed , quite rude when asked for clarification on menu choices, I also observed people being treated in a very off hand manner while waiting on table availability ,... We normally never eat at the same place twice when on holidays but we found this restaurant to be very good. The food was nice on both occasions for each of us. The waiters are often in a rush but we were always looked after. Highly recommend the 'Chicken in the Pottery Pot'. We liked the atmosphere sitting outside.

Could be that we were there at the wrong time of day. Elected to have an early supper with family. There were five of us. Overall I did not feel all that welcome. Food was okay but for the priced expected more. This restaurant was recommended to us but I do not think I coud recommend it to other people.... More
