We visited this by chance, not knowing any reviews of the place. It sits on the main tourist harvesting drag through the old town and has a lobster tank on the outside. We are a family of four, with 2 kids. One of us had a tuna steak, which we think must have been frozen, quite a big size but... More

We enjoyed our lunch at Os Arcos. Delicious octopus salad and another dish of fish and rice. Very tasty. The waiter was very efficient, friendly and very helpful with our learning of the Portuguese language. The fish was very fresh. Easy place to stop for a quick meal as you are strolling about town.

Six of us ate here and everything was excellent. The menu items cooked with rice, e.g. salt cod or octopus were very tasty. The service was excellent, thanks to Caetano and Marcio. We spoke with the chef and thanked him for making us happy for a few hours until we ate again.

The restaurant looks lovely as you walk down the "strip", so my wife and I had a look at the menu and sat down. The waiter came over and took a drinks order and gave us some bread and butter and some cheese and olives, however, this bread is not complimentary, but you don't find that out until you get... Very disappointed with the food. This is the first terrible meal we have ever had in Lagos and we come here often. I ordered the lamb stew which was literally a metal pot full of lamb offal and bones and orange liquid which should of been gravy however was just fat. Apparently this is the norm however I don't believe... More

The restaurant is located fairly centrally in downtown Lagos in a pedestrian zone. It offers international as well as Portuguese dishes. The seafood, in particular the grilled sardines were excellent. The pasta was too heavy on cheese. Service was friendly and efficient. The prices are a little bit above average which is probably mainly due to the central location. The... More

Went for lunch had cream of shrimp soup which was exceptional. Followed by skewer of squid. This again was very well prepared and cooked. Vegetables were al dente but not hard and tasted fine. My partner had chicken kebab which was succulent and not dry. Washed down with a fine Periquita white wine. Perfectand Iit didnot break the bank. Service... More

Was good service, and I had the tiger prawns which were great. Nothing spectacular, but all the food was good. Good beer too.

Ate here several time sitting both inside and outside and had excellent food and service at all visits. The fish was good but really enjoyed the steak served on the hot stone. The staff were very attentive and efficient. As with most restaurants on this street the outdoor seating tends to fill quickly in high season but inside is air... More
