Ate here several time sitting both inside and outside and had excellent food and service at all visits. The fish was good but really enjoyed the steak served on the hot stone. The staff were very attentive and efficient. As with most restaurants on this street the outdoor seating tends to fill quickly in high season but inside is air... More

This is one of those restaurants in lagos, Portugal that does good wholesome food, The place is big, airy, and the staff very efficient and always ready to please. The food was wholesome and not that expensive, the menu was varied, and it catered for all tastes.

Great location on main tourist drag to watch the world go by, that's really where the good points end. A very average lunch at not very average prices. So many better places in Lagos.

Had several meals at this restaurant before and noticed a decline in service levels and quality of food so didn't really know what to expect!! Pleased to report a definite improvement!! Yes - the 'cover' still arrives whether you ask for it or not....you can always decline!! Veal was well cooked and the swordfish excellent. Service was 'with a smile'... More

We had some starters and a mixer seafood cataplana. Eventi though the service was good, the seafood had poor quality and it was very expensive. We spent 80 euros in two people.

My husband and I had dinner here one night while vacationing in Lagos and we not only enjoyed our food, but the service as well. Not sure what the issue was with the other reviewers, but in Portugal the bread, cheese, butter, olives, etc. is almost always charged. And the price is stated on the menu. If you don't want... More

The steak was not cooked properly and the sea food was mediocre. There was no drinks menus so when we asked for the bill (which came on a tablet) we realised that we have been paying 9.5 euros for a small sangria and that we have been charged about 8 euros for appetisers. Definitely to avoid.

We chose this restaurant because it looked busy and from that assumed that it must be decent. The food was okay - nothing more than very ordinary. The most aggravating part of the dinner though was being charged 10 euros for bread and other appetizers, only some of which we actually ate. The bill came in portuguese so as to... More

Food was mediocre, but the menu on the street was reasonably priced. When the bill eventually arrived, however, we noticed that we had been charged 8 euros for bread, cheese, and pâté we did not even eat. Tried to dispute the charges, but we were ultimately unsuccessful and withheld a tip instead. While we should have known what we were... More

Our visit was spoilt by a very pushy waiter asking to be tipped directly as he claimed that the boss took 50% of the tips. On that basis we decided not to tip and recieved a look that could kill !! Food and wine OK, outside tables are on a busy street with all and sundry passing by whilst you... More
