we were looking forward to coming back here because we enjoyed the whole experience so much last time. We were not disappointed. The food is very tasty, and the menu has good variety. We would recommend the goats cheese with marmalade and the lamb particularly, but every dish was delicious. This is definitely on our list of "must visit" every... More

Ate twice at this restaurant, both times the quality of food and variety was superb also inexpensive. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Just outside of Lagos it is well worth a visit.

Had a lovely tapas meal at this restaurant last night. The entire meal for three came to just over €60 which included three courses, a bottle of nice house red and coffee. The location of the restaurant is incorrectly pinned on the map. The correct location is: 37°06'50.0"N 8°41'11.0"W http://goo.gl/maps/94aqz

O Marafado lies just outside Lagos, away from the tourist hubbub but with beautiful views over the town and across the ocean. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, is traditionally decorated and the staff were very welcoming. There was an extensive choice of meat, fish and vegetable tapas which were freshly prepared and utterly delicious. For dessert, the lemon flan... More

Avoid the tourists in the crowded centre of Lagos and the easy menus. Just outside the busy streets you will find this wonderful tapas restaurant with a marvellous view over the city. Good service, wonderful food, low prices. We ordered 14 different tapas, drank good wine and coffee and only payed €88 for 4 persons.

Came here on a couple of occasions 2 years ago and we loved it (including our 2 boys, 7 and 14 at the time). It was sad to hear that business was very slow, and I did wonder if they'd still be here this summer. We went on Saturday and whilst we were glad it was open, only half the... More

Had already reviewed this restaurant on Tripadvisor before travelling to Lagos. 7 of us went on a Monday evening. We were the only guests there when we arrived and a few other diners turned up during the evening. The menu was so enticing that we found ourselves saying "I'll have one of those and one of those and yes one... More

If you have a car and you are in the area of Lagos go and find this hidden gem. This is a Tapas restaurant serving a good variety of tapas. Our favorites were the honey coated battered chicken and the garlic piri-piri prawns. The wine recommended to us(Encostas Do Enxor 2008) was the best red we have had this holiday.... More

This restaurant is beautifully located, with views over the sea and the mountains, but the main reason for choosing a place to eat is the food. The tapas we chose were delicious, and we weren't disappointed by a single dish. The menu had enough variety to cater for all tastes, and we look forward to visiting again to sample more... More
