Have been eating here for years and never fails to be great food at excellent prices. Consistently big portions for any fish or meat dishes. Very fresh food.

We eat here on the recommendation of our hotel reception. We had to queue but tables became available quckly as service was fast. There was an extensive menu but also several additions depending on what was caught that day. We had vegetable soup and a salad to start excellent, thick flavoursome soup served with fresh portugese country bread. The salad... More

Last year,my wife had a steak to die for. This year, all four of us ordered steak. I tend to prefer to eat steak at home knowing where I have bought it and how it's been cooked. 2 were Ok, two were really chewy. We were too tired to complain,or send our food back. The waitress never asked whether we... More

Good fish at affordable and predictable price. Complete meal of fresh fish and white wine for 20€/person. Small restaurant, usually crowded and with some noise. Difficult to get a table at peak time. Tables too close of other customers. Good value for money.

Good quality food in resonable prices. We got tuna, salmon and fish fillets - everything was good and in big portions. Service good as well and we waited only about 15 minutes to be seated.

Lovely restaurant if you're after fresh locally produced food in typical Portuguese fashion. Service very pleasant and quick, bearing in mind the place was packed full of people, mostly locals, which I always view as a good sign for eateries. Food was fresh and tasty, portions quite big, so I would recommend sharing if you're not very hungry. Prices are... More

It is small. It is not easy to find. It may be crowded during dinner time. We read a lot of opinions, mostly saying huge portion average quality, we got there for lunch, quality was very good. We came back for dinner, I got 'half of the cow' steak which was delicious, my wife got sword fish, which was fas... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend and we would never have come across it otherwise. We had two meals there and enjoyed both. It is small and there is little room between the tables so getting in and out is a challenge. However it is worth it and gives value for money.
