Xpreitaqui is definitely the most stylish place we came across in Lagos: nice music, cozy environment, professional service.. Everything is well thought of. We also enjoyed different tapas and we found every of the dishes creative and tasty. The portions there are not as generous as in simple Portuguese restaurants, but we were happy to try different flavors in one... More

Great food. Interesting, well presented, tasty. Just work your way through the tapas, so far they have all been fine and I plan to eat more this evening... 2 to 3 tapas enough for a substantial meal.

We were looking for some vegetarian tapas (or any vegetarian food) and I have to say, here they were fantastic. Really fresh food, creative and tasty. We were two persons and had 4 vegetarian tapas. That was just a right amount. The owner recommended us a good wine. Might be a bit expensive if you are very hungry or someone... More

It was getting on for half ten at night & we got turned away from three places for it being too late. The friendly waitress here was only too happy to accommodate us. They found us a table for four near the windows so we could people watch whilst having a drink. We decided to pick two tapas dishes each... More

Eat here on two occasions and was hugely impressed by the food, service and decor. Highlights include octopus, monkfish, stuffed mushroom and broad bean & chorizo...tempura sardines were also delish. In fact, everything we had was top drawer. Streets ahead of most restaurants and prob the best tapas we've ever had which is quite a statement. Highly recommended.

Was in Lagos for a fortnight and ate out for lunch and dinner every day. For the most part the standard of food was pretty disappointing. The food we had here was as better than most places by a long shot. Bit more thought in the menu and offers something a bit different. Had oxtail with chick peas, mussels, pork... More

Having read other reviews I can see where people are coming from on the time issue, however for us this was by far the nicest food we had during our 10 night stay. Would recommend the mushrooms with goats cheese and Parma ham. Also the creme brûlée was fantastic.

Stumbled upon this restaurant in Lagos which we visited for the evening. The restaurant looked modern and stood out amongst some of the shabbier looking restaurants around so we thought we would give it a go. Service was good but a bit lacking in personality. The food on the other hand was amazing, we all agreed it was the best... More

It took over 20 mins for a member of staff to acknowledge our party of 6 much less offer any drinks. It took a further 1hr 30 mins before we were served our meal which came with starters and mains at the same time, and then over 20 mins later when we asked for the bill was the desert menu... More
