A Gem

I think this was the most memorable meal we've had during our 2-week stay in Portugal. The food is just amazing. The ambiance is charming. There is not one negative thing to say about the place. So strongly recommend! Just wish we would've discovered it earlier in our stay.

I have eaten here on numerous occasions and it never disappoints. Quality food in a fantastic setting, the staff are very friendly and it all makes for a great evening. Off the beaten track and nestled in a picturesque valley hideaway it's definitely worth the trip.

Set in its own magical, twinkly lit, dell halfway between Lagos and Luz (follow the blue signs from the roundabout) this is a wonderful place to visit. The setting is wonderful and the food is wonderful. There was a huge selection of couvert, all very different and delicious. The starters were stunning... the goats cheese and apple salad was divine.... More

Been to this restaurant a few times the food and wine are fine, and the outside sitting area is lovely. Owner is charming with excellent service, nice, different restaurant to visit, especially on a summers night. Luxurious surroundings ideal for special occasions, when you want to spoi yourself, but equally appropriate for a mid week dinner, try it and see.

This restaurant is superb. The food is simply perfect. Wheather you eat outside or in the surrounding are great. No paper towels in the loo, you get a little hand towel that is only used once! Blankets on the backs of the chairs outside incase you get cold. I've been 3 times myself. It's my parents favourite place to eat.... More

Ate here twice on a recent 2 week holiday. There are tables outside, but for us we found it a little cold even with the blankets that were provided by the restaurants. The quality of the food was very good and the service friendly and efficient. We would recommend eating here to anyone. The restaurant is in a remote location... More

Located in a somewhat remote place (nothing within a kilometer or so), the location has a lot of charm. We dined outside, after sun had set. The decor was very romantic, with some tables being located in some very individual places (between trees, plants) and with lots of distance between. This is ideal to treat your girlfriend who will feel... More

Located just outside Lagos on the 125 to Sagres, this restaurant is worth visiting if you want a special meal that is different from the normal Portugese food that you would get in the town of Lagos. Our meal cost us 45 euro each and included a starter ,main course and fabulous deserts. We also had picked a nice bottle of... More
