Excellent Restaurant - superb setting great food and really friendly staff

Went for dinner tonight and the food was as good as we remembered 3 years ago when last in Faro. Really very good and same staff also. The restaurant opens Wednesday to Sunday and when we booked on the Wednesday the earliest slot we could get was 730pm Saturday - really very popular. Small menu... read more

The trouble with Lagos is that's there's so many nice places to eat and Cachoa is defiantly one of them. The quality of food and wine is extremely high. It's off the beaten track which adds to it's charm, the layout and décor is very nice and can cater for a wide range of party size. Driving from can be... More

We've been coming here for about 15 years and Cachoa never disappoints. The food is excellent and the service is very friendly. They also cater for children. Be aware that they do not accept credit cards.

I made a reservation at the restaurant and mentioned that it was for my girlfriends birthday. Upon arrival and seeing the wonderful outdoor seating, one of the tables was made up with dried flowers. So far so good. The restaurant has a very romantic feel, it was busy and all the guests looked to be having a lovely time. The... More

When we visit the Luz area, Cachoa is always the first place we visit. We are always greeted like long lost friends and the food , in particular the fresh fish is second to none

Cachoa is one of the better restaurants in luz. It has an interesting menu with good prices, I recommend the monkfish dish and also the duck main which both were great. The canneloni however was mediocre. Make sure to grab a table outside where you sit in their pateo surrounded by the trees. The restaurant has a home'y feel and... More

My husband & I enjoyed a beautiful meal on the outside terrace here . Service was attentive & unobtrusive . House red wine was delightful, G & T's slightly pricey ! We had the sharing couvert which was unusual and offered some new tastes, starters Stuffed mushrooms very tasty, slightly limp lettuce ! Garlic prawns Delish. The mains were outstanding,... More

Regrettably, our experience of "Cachoa" was not as good as other reviewers, principally for two (2) reasons: 1. We were recommended a bottle of red wine (Reserve) by the waitress at a cost of over €30. Whilst this was the second most expensive wine on the red wine list, we were happy to pay extra on the basis of the... More
