Excellent choice of fish and meat with a good choice of everything from a basic meal to an expensive one. You can choose your fish as you enter at the chilled cabinet be sure to check the price when ordering as it is sold by the size. For instance we had a large sea bass which was plenty to share... This restaurant is a bit off the beaten track but ideal stop on the way to or back from the beach when staying in Faro, I have had the swordfish twice and both were excellent, the white wine was also excellent not the usual vino verde which can I find too fizzy. They also do nice kebabs and ribs.

Dined here whilst stranded by the air strike. Simple friendly cafe at the front and comfy restaurant at the back, serving excellent fresh grilled fish. Pick your own from the chiller counter - whole sea bass, bream, turbot etc plus beautiful prawn squid and monkfish kebabs served with simple potatoes and salads. Excellent coffee. Reasonably priced and worth a visit... More

The sardines I had were... More

It is not difficult to find well prepared fish in Algarve. But our best fish meal came from a typical, family-run restaurant near the airport of Faro. The fish was fresh like straight out of the sea. You can choose it from the counter by yourself and you can get help if needed. Afterwards your favorite fish comes perfectly grilled... More

My family and I first ate at Os Manos because we were very hungry after our flight, but returned later. The mixed fish grill is particularly good: the fish was excellent and we had at least one, really delicious fish that we never ran across again. The thing that really made the place stand out in our minds was the... More
