First of all the location is nice. It's quiet and all that stuff. But the Restaurant itself is horrible. First the menu was cut short. A lot of dishes weren't available and i ordered a sirloin steak and my partner wamted naby squids but they only had one "big" squid left.so he took that. When we got the food it... More

When you are in Faro, order tuna with onion at this very nice restaurant! It's superb and the staff is helpful and provides a very good service! Will for sure be back next time in Faro!

We had a long lunch here in late June 2014. My wife and I had a Sea Bass each, which we both agreed were the best we have ever eaten. Our four year old daughter has fish croquettes - which were lovely. Prices were very reasonable. The setting is idyllic - with a cathedral opposite. The service was terrible; slow... More

We ate at this restaurant twice while staying in Faro. It lies in the shadow of the cathedral in the old town, a beautiful setting in the evening with the lights on the cathedral frontage. We ate simple, local, excellently cooked food, the best bream in two weeks on the Algarve one evening and shared small platters from several menu... More

Faro in January is very quiet and the choice of restaurants is more limited. Those that are open can be very quiet too. This particular one is in the centre of the old town square and we ended up going 2 nights on the run it was so good. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was... More

Dropped in for a late lunch. Lovely table facing the church, soaking up the warm late October sun. Waiter very attentive, also funny ... teased us about our complete lack of Portuguese and our unfamiliarity with the cuisine. Light hearted and really added to the meal. The food was excellent. Delicious prawns and other seafood. Vegetarian member of the family... More

Went for lunch, menu variety excellent & all local dishes /produce. Food served well & high quality. Atmosphere relaxed but staff helpful & made sure we had a good meal. In a good location in the Old Town, near the marina which were worth exploring. Rest of Faro pretty forgettable

What a lovely place, full of charm. Very busy with happy diners. The broad bean and chicken and pork tortilla for starters which tasted amazing. We had the house special chicken with honey which was lovely. That and two drinks each and bread etc for €48? Great value, the British could learn alot from this place as they went over... More

If you want to try a few regional recipes from the Algarve this is the place to go. You can choose from the the small portion or regular one. But go for the small one and give it a go to 4 or 5, or more suggestions on the menu. Prices for small portions go from 4/5 euros to 8/9... More
