The atmosphere and the surroundings were really nice. We had a hamburger and a chicken breast at main course and wouldn't recommend that. The hamburger was sour and there came too much sauce with the chicken breast. The deserts were ok.

What is with that music? Just an awful mix of pretentious inappropriate funeral music to 'the best of (re most common) classical' CD. You have got the music VERY wrong in terms of setting an ambience. On to the service, we waited too long to be asked for drinks and then when we finally ordered a sparkling white and the... More

Great food and service. Lovely setting. Waitress was very informative and took the trouble to inform me my chosen dish was new to today's menu so may take a little longer. Really couldn't fault them. Honesty always works.

This restaurant has a location to 'die for' in old Faro and we were lucky enough to witness a typical Portuguese wedding as we were having lunch as it is opposite a beautiful church The restaurant was fairly busy and although we were given menus promptly it did take quite a while to have our order taken - although our... We were wandering the old town of Faro during the afternoon and popped into this place for a quick beer and half an hour out of the sun. It was a really quiet afternoon and the place looked superb looking out across the Largo da Se square and Faro Cathedral. A couple of cold lagers and a look at the... More

Visited on our first day in Faro for lunch. We were met by the most sullen and rude waitress. She tutted and rolled her eyes when my husband questioned something. I can only assume because we spoke in English. Food was not good. Reheated (badly) and overpriced. The worst experience I gave ever had in a restaurant. Avoid!

First of all the location is nice. It's quiet and all that stuff. But the Restaurant itself is horrible. First the menu was cut short. A lot of dishes weren't available and i ordered a sirloin steak and my partner wamted naby squids but they only had one "big" squid left.so he took that. When we got the food it... More

We had a long lunch here in late June 2014. My wife and I had a Sea Bass each, which we both agreed were the best we have ever eaten. Our four year old daughter has fish croquettes - which were lovely. Prices were very reasonable. The setting is idyllic - with a cathedral opposite. The service was terrible; slow... More

We ate at this restaurant twice while staying in Faro. It lies in the shadow of the cathedral in the old town, a beautiful setting in the evening with the lights on the cathedral frontage. We ate simple, local, excellently cooked food, the best bream in two weeks on the Algarve one evening and shared small platters from several menu... More
