Visited in the early evening whilst Benfica were playing football live on the tv. There were only two tables occupied, ourselves and one other. The staff were more interested in the game than their customers. Cheese and honey and a basket of bread was placed on the table,,, this is not free,, you find this out when the bill arrives... More

Just across the little street is another wanna be pastry shop. No comparison! I came to bijou and loved it. When I went Chelsea I loved bijou even more.

This is a very pleasant coffee shop offering good value produce at a reasonable price. We enjoyed a macaroon, portugese custard tart and apple slice and we had a very nice Cappuccino and Espresso to wash these down. The prices are very reasonable with all this coming to just over 6 euros. The service was prompt and friendly. There was... More

My friend and I stayed in Faro for 2 weeks, and let's say by the end of our stay the waitresses remembered our order, that's how often we went there! Friendly staff (who spoke English), yummy food and great service!

My partner and I went there to try some more of the delicious traditional sweets from Portugal and ended up going crazy with so many options. They were all delicious and the service was very good too, the place was clean and warm. I did not find all the sweets I wanted but found some I had never heard of... More

Terrible service and pastries are not that good. There are much better pastry places a few steps up the street. Waited forever first for service, then to pay. First and last time there.

Located in the city center near the waterfront this inexpensive store offers a wide selection of different types of pastries as well as a regular menu. The quality was excellent and the pricing even more so. The wait staff was quick and friendly. What else can you ask after a long day of visiting and touring.

This is a modern run pastry shop, very clean and a fresh look about it. The ladies that run this place serve a bit of everything, great selection of pastry's, coffee's and teas, beer and wine, salads, sandwiches, etc. Nothing on the menu is more than 10 euro, the service is fast and polite, busy with the local crowd. Soup of... More

We ate here a couple of times on our recent trip to Faro. Nice tostas and salads...All great value. Their cakes and pastries looked delicious but we didn't try them.

Had lunch in pastelaria Bijou after a very hot shopping spree in Faro. Very cool (airconditioners), bright and clean place. Very friendly waitresses, speedy service no problem with the language. We had salads and for dessert excellent pie.
