This restaurant has either changed hands or lost their excellent chef since we were last here several years ago. The menu is still impressive but our starters and mains were very mediocre. We ordered crepes suzettes for desert as our last experience was outstanding and it was cooked and flambed at our table. This time we were presented with a... More

What I enjoyed about this place is the setting, it is a very comfortable room which has the tables set out as they should be, suitably distanced from each other. Had what a while to get a drinks order in and then for the wine to arrive for 3 guests whilst all the others had been served their beers. Beyond... More

Maitre d' was a bit too intense - food, wine (a very good 12 year old (!) white wine); ambiance very nice

Based in the old town this is an upmarket restaurant at a reasonable price Dinner 2 courses and wine about 35 euros a head . Relaxed atmosphere and ideal for couples, sadly I uttered the four most depressing words in the English language "table for one please", however it was an uplifting experience with good food and good service.

We had a fish soup for two, which was excellent. However our main course, sirloin steak with pepper sauce was mediocre. Also, we found the restaurant rather pretentious, with waiters scurrying around (one with shoes which made a rather loud click-clack) more than necessary. For example, ours took possession not only of our wine bottle but our sparkling water, both... More

We had the tasting menu which was excellent value, around 35 euros for starter, fish, sorbet, magret de canard and dessert, all very good (perhaps the fish slightly less special- a bit like goujons). Wine list with a huge selection at prices to suit all budgets and, most appreciated, the fact the tables were not too crammed together. Not one... More

Very good food, very reasonably priced! It's a lovely setting with helpful staff based in the middle of the old town, they were happy to seat us regardless of the late time of our arrival and didn't rush us. The wine selection was good too

I went here in June 2014 and globally was a very good experience. The decoration and atmosphere is very pleasant, very suited to a special occasion or just to relax some good meal (the service takes a little bit, so don't go there if you are in a rush). The price is reasonable for that kind of restaurant.

This restaurant is situated in the Old Town. We decided to eat here after a couple of very mediocre meals in the town centre and because of the reviews on trip advisor. We were not disappointed. Lovely bread and oil To start. I had prawn risotto and my husband had salt cod, which he said was delicious. Both mains were... More
