Very good location and an excellent lunch menu (Executive menu) at a quite valuable price of 15 € per person. We tried the pork cheek dish and some tuna steak that were very good. Service was attentive and we managed to have lunch already at 3 PM. To get back to if in Faro again.

This Executive lunch was a delicious value and served with style. We were under pressure timewise, and this spot was perfect! My stuffed squid was delicious as was the orange tarte, a moist rolled sponge redolent with orange and garnished with whipped cream. Creme brulee made without cream was very pleasing to my dining companions. I wish I could have... More

We had an excellent vegetarian meal. Good food, including a unique and tasty soup, excellent wine, attentive service and reasonable price. The restaurant was very quiet in February and is rather tucked away in the old town.

Good food, good service. rich wine list. The only problem is the fact that there´s a smoking section, and you can´t avoid smelling smoke even in the no-smoking section. The restaurant is located in the "Vila Adentro" area, in the old town of Faro, surrounded by the medieval walls of the city. Very nice for a stroll after your meal.

Top resturant, hidden away in the old town. Total for two of us (main, desert, wine and coffee) was €60. Food was superb, very good service and it felt like a top class dining experience. We saved this for our last night and it was by far the best place we ate. When you consider that a normal meal cost... More

In the old town...just a doorway...but very pleasant inside. The lunchtime tourist menu was only 13E and for that we had bread, 3 courses, wine and coffee. This standard of cooking and service was impressive...I had the Bacalao (traditional salted cod dish) and my partner had pork cheeks....both excellent and the creme brulee dessert was huge and delicious! Definitely worth... More

Although there are a number of good places to eat in Faro, most are of a sameness, and most seem to share the same "tourist" menu. What a fantastic find this was, in the old town. Everything from the quality and variety of food on offer, to the friendly yet professional staff, to the sophisticated modern decor, all add up... More

We were very courteously welcomed. The lunch was great. Our menu consisted of mixed salad (in stead of soup), a beautyful grilled entrecote with crisp french fries, chocolate cake and coffee and tea. The complementary wine was a perfect match for the meat. And all this for only 13 euros per couvert. We will certainly return here.

We visited this restaurant on a Tuesday night in early December so as expected the place was very quiet. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. We both loved out food. And the prices were great. By far teh best restaurant we ate at on out trip. We ate at most of the highest rated restaurants in faro based on... More

13 Euros for a 3 course lunch. Can't expect much. Freshly made soup let down by cold bowls. Main courses could do with more explanation - several in our party were disappointed. More expensive set menus look very interesting - just need a bit more enthusiasm to go to Faro again
