Very good value and excellent tuna pate

We found this restaurant from the back whilst walking down the street from at hotel Dom Bernardo. It looks nothing special from the front, in fact I... More

This hotel was recommended to my husband and I by the local hotel that we were staying in but that had no restaurant of its own. We were not disappointed. The decor and atmosphere were good, and the friendly staff enthusiastic about their fare and keen to see that we enjoyed our meal. A good choice of dishes available, with... More

I ordered the grilled fish having had some lovely meals in Faro and Lisbon before coming here. It was very dry and not fresh. My husband's piri-piri chicken was OK but the accompanying crisps were limp. The service was pleasant but not very quick considering the restaurant had not many customers. The price was quite low but I would prefer... More

Lovely atmosphere, very good service. Our waiter was a charming English speaker. The lunch specials are amazing value. We sat outside, fine if you don't mind the traffic noise and the smokers.

Had lunch on Sunday and had the daily fish special and a bottle of house red. The fish was very fresh and everything else we ordered was very good. Service was expedient and gracious. Will be back.

We ate here last night, and it was the best meal of our holiday. Excellent food and wine, great service by attentive and helpful waiters who spoke good English. We sat outside in the backyard in the warm summer evening along with locals filling the other tables, a real taste of Portugal. I'll go back here next time I'm in... More

This was our first time to Faro and we visited the restaurant on our second night. The food was great, service attentive and jovial, wine very reasonably priced and overall cost cheap compared to any quality Restaurants we have frequented. The steak and fish were cooked just perfect for us and well presented. The restaurant was full and mainly locals,... More

We arrived just before seven pm and were the only people there apart from a party of locals drinking and watching the new pope announcements. We waited over thirty minnutes for an order to be taken, but then the food arrived relatively quickly afterward. the food was acceptable and in parts enjoyable, and the restaurant very quickly got busy. The... More

In all the places we had been too, this was the worst. It wasn't really really bad but you can get other better food at other places. It is not great value either. I had scallops and they were bit rubbery, my boyfriend had the peri peri chicken and it was really oily with not much taste. Had nice sangria... More
