Best little Restaurant in town

I don't think we'd have gone to eat here if it wasn't for tripadvisor. The restaurant is on a small quiet street on it's own away from the busier more commercial areas. It's a very small restaurant but that adds to it's charm. We had the Portuguese steak with garlic and bay leaves and grilled lemon sole for main, both... More

We wouldn't have found this restaurant if it wasn't for Tripadvisor and I'm so glad that we went there. The place itself is set back from the main tourist strip. The food is outstanding, quite simply the best seafood I've ever eaten. Locally sourced, the swordfish, prawns and tuna steak - to name but a few - were delicious. Couldn't... More

Just back from brill half term break. We had the Sea Bass. What was it like? Well let's say we eat a lot of fresh fish, but this was the best. Although, a wine expert, I have limited knowledge of Portugese Vinho. If you are unsure, ask the owner as he knows his stuff. A great little Portugese Restaurant. Thank you... More

This was the first restaurant we went to on our half term break recently. We had read the reviews and we decided to give it a try. Our concierge helped us book the restaurant and call a taxi for us. Because we have a 5year old and a 1.5 year old we tend to eat early and they opened at... More

We visited Os Arcos on two nights during our holiday. On both nights the food and service was outstanding. We had booked the first night so before we left booked again as so many people were been turned away. Only thing I did not like were the chairs as found them uncomfortable.

Husband and Wife team, Jose and Paula. All the food is fresh, and home cooked. Not frozen. They do not need people to drag you in from the street. This is the best restaurant in old town Albufeira. We have had the following starters: Home made Tuna Pate Couvert ,Fillet Sardines, Prawns and Advocado, (all fantastic). For the main: Black... More

We always meant to try this restaurant on previous trips but didn't get around to booking a table and it was always booked when we took a chance going in off the street. This time we booked a table and didn't regret it. Hubby had one of the days catch of fresh fish, a whole sole which was expertly filleted... More
