Ate here on many recommendations and very much impressed. It's apparently very busy during the day with workers taking advantage of the €7.50 set menu. They also offer a €9.50 set menu. My wife selected her main off the €7.50 set menu and I selected from the €9.50 set menu. Starters, my wife had garlic bread and I the bread... More

Quite a large restuarant, but you don't feel left out even when busy. We were welcomed warmly and as not busy when we arrived could choose where we sat. Food very reasonably priced, and if that wasn't enough they had a cheaper three course set meal (with a few choices). We went for the main menu, we had the Garlic... More

We had booked an 18 night stay at the nearby Velamar hotel and on our first night went looking for an eatery for our evening meal. Several of the restaurants in the area had closed for the winter, so we went into the nearest which was open, the Adega do Ze. We were welcomed on arrival, seated and menus provided.... More

We had lunch at the Adega Do Ze by default as just up the street our favourite place does not open lunchtimes we found to our dissapointment. The Menu is similiar to most real Portugese restaurants with a few exceptions. My partner went for Piri Piri Chicken which came with good tasty vegetables as was also accompanied to my choice... This is a wonderful dining experience at a very affordable price. My wife and I are quite used to spending 40- 50 euros for dinner and were amazed at the quality and value . For 7.50 euros, you get a choice of soup or salad, followed by a choice of 7 entrees , a litre of wine , dessert and... More

Submitted a review the same time last year but just wanted to say that this restaurant has not changed, still excellent value for money, nice food with decent portion sizes. Drink, starter, meal, dessert and coffee all for 7.50 euro. What more is there to say. Well worth a visit!

The tourist menus at 7.50 and 9.50 are excellent value and quality as is that served off the main menu. The fish dishes are definitely worth trying. A drink is included in the tourist menus (a half litre of wine each is considered a drink not just a glass). Service was always good even when the restaurant was packed. Spent... More

Reading previous reviews, you will know what the 7.50 & 9.50 menus consists of. The food is excellent, please don't let the plastic chairs and the hand written menu put you off. The ladies are very pleasant and the service is excellent. You never feel rushed and the atmosphere is lovely. We have been prior to our recent visit and... More
