WOW!!! I thought I could eat a lot but the portions you get here are incredible. The quality of the food is the best I have ever tasted. Piri piri Ribs is a must. Giant Fish and chips!! You need a bin lid to put it on, it's so big. The staff are very polite, and nothing is to much... More

We've been going to Albufeira for a few years and found this gem last year. The quality of the food, the service and the value for money is amazing. We eat there 5 out of 7 evenings generally and have never been disappointed. The meat combo is amazing and the ribs delicious. It's always packed so book or go there... More

We've been to see the friendly staff at the Cockerel 5 or six times during our 1 month stay in Albufeira. The food had been great every time. The generous portions of English fare has been well prepared and presented The staff is knowledgeable and friendly willing to take the time to fined out what you're likes and dislikes are... More

We had the cod and enjoyed it--both that day and the next as we took home half of our meal. Reservations are a good idea as the restuarant is smallish and has quite a loyal following, as well as... Went here last night for gf's birthday. Staff very friendly and helpful. Got the combo platter, rib eye steak chicken and ribs. The ribs are to die for steak cooked to perfection. Even the customers were very friendly and all toasted Tina's birthday. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Going back there tonight to try the fish
