We discovered this restaurant by chance on the last day of our holiday (unfortunately - otherwise we would certainly have come back!) and went there for lunch with our toddler. The restaurant is a bit more like a traditional restaurant than the majority of the beach cafes/sports bars and casual eateries etc that surround it, which we liked. The menu... More

If you want to enjoy genuine well cooked Portuguese food, this is the place to go. We had the catalpa a the first time. Excellent. Washed down with the local Foral Albufeira red wine - lovely! We went back for more. My wife had the sea bream and I had grouper. Really good. Of course we had the wine again... More

Fantastic place to eat or go with a group of friends. A large variety of food on the menu and a good wine list. The place was full up on Friday evening. The service was very good and don't forget the Flan dessert. Delicious. Going tonight again.

We had been to the tres palmeiras many years ago, and on returning to the restaurant we were not disappointed. If your a lover of good food then you have to give this place a try. After having the usual tradition breads, we had a picks plate o sliced carrots in garlic, fish pates, olives, and of course a jug... More

We discovered this restaurant in October when staying nearby and had dinner there twice. We have just spent a week nearby again and, again, had dinner there on two occasions. Last night my husband had the tuna salad and fish stew - both excellent. I had the deep fried prawns - yummy - and delicious - melt in the mouth... More

The location was in a quiet location, midway between the centre of Albufeira and Praia da Oura. Restaurant was very well presented, very clean. Very pleasant and efficient waiters. The whole ambience was of a more up-market establishment than some of the other restaurants in the busier parts of town. Excellent menu (I had rabbit as the main course, my... More

We have been meaning to try Tres Palmeiras for years, over ten in fact. At last we ventured forth and were not disappointed. The couvert was lovely, my dining companions all had and enjoyed shrimp cocktail and I had the fish soup - quite delicious and a bargain at €2.50. My wife and one of my friends had grouper, which... The location meant that it was not entirely straight forward to get to, but it is well worth the effort. When we were in, the restaurant was well used by locals. We were offered the usual Portuguese cover starters of bread, butter, olives and mozzarella and for the first time ever, slices of garlicky carrots. The service was great, just... More
