We'd visited the strip going from the old town and saw this place - one we'd spotted on tripadvisor so decided to go for a light lunch. There were a group of what looked like retired men sitting in the garden at the front, sharing a bottle of wine or two and eating olives etc - we were a little... More

From the outside it looks . Like a house and I never saw anyone go in. However when we went in it was very busy if going for a special occasion I would recommend booking. Waiters very attentive, food was excellent and reasonably priced.

We were staying very close to this restaurant and passed it every evening heading for the strip. One evening we decided to try it out and we weren't disappointed! Good menu and they also had a kids menu, even though our kids went for something on the main menu. Garlic prawns were just yum yum! My other half had the... More

Visited Tres Palmeiras restaurant with my wife and 2 sons twice in 10 days and it was just as we had left it 4 years previously in 2010. We made a booking via the internet in advance of travelling and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was packed as usual, the service excellent by very experienced staff. The food was... More

This restaurant is where the locals go to and is most of the times full. Reservations are only accepted at 08:30 and from then onwards its first come first served basis. The fish soup is delicious as a starter and the choose one of their specialties such as the ray fish or monkfish with tomato, onion, olive oil and garlic.

The food is OK, prices are affordable. Place has nothing special. Suggestion - Filetes Grilled fish - there's better places like Pescador in Santa Eulália

Quality/Price ratio = average. I had an "espetada tamboril" was overcooked and side rice was nothing soecial, no flavour. My wife had a "peixe espada com banana" this was better cooked. Atmosphere is nice. Overall it was a little below my expectations.

This is a great restaurant but my food was cold. I can understand this because it is really very big and very busy. This is really slick and accommodating to all nationalities just a bit standard. Don't get me wrong you will never have a bad meal ( the carrots covers are lovely) but it's just a little less intimate... More
