I have to say it's very hard to find a traditional Portuguese restaurant but here I think we found the best one. We had a very nice wild berry sangria, an amazing Cataplana and squid in Algrave style. The place looks stylish and a great service too. I would highly recommend it. Ioana ( Romania)

This restaurant is well worth a visit. It is at the top of one of the narrow winding streets that lead to the main square. There is a leather shop at the corner of the street at the bottom and it is at the top of the street near the municipal building. The hot prawns are delicious as is the... More

Selected this restaurant to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary solely based on the “upscale” appearance which was a big mistake. The man was very nice, greeted us warmly and took our order. Unfortunately, that was the end of his interaction and we were left to the mercy of an extremely rude woman who must have been having a bad day... More

Excellent food and service. Quite place but no idea why. The food was amazing and far better then 209 yards down the hill on in the main square. I can also recommend the mixed berry sangria.

We were told about this place being a big surprise from the outside appearance. Once inside, the setting is more formal than you would expect. The grandson waited on us, and was very polite and helpful.

They serve traditional Portuguese dishes and were very delicious. The cataplana was very tasty and the sea bass was perfectly cooked. They have a nice selection of local wines. You have to try the crepe dessert. The complimentary sample of port ended a wonderful evening.

This is the third time we have visited this restaurant in three years and the same high quality food makes an evening here one of the highlights of our holiday. The restaurant is very modern with hi spec furnishings and although it is a bit out of the way it is well worth a visit.
