Excellent food with wonderful service

They serve traditional Portuguese dishes and were very delicious. The cataplana was very tasty and the sea bass was perfectly cooked. They have a nice selection of local wines. You have to try the crepe dessert. The complimentary sample of port ended a wonderful evening.

This is the third time we have visited this restaurant in three years and the same high quality food makes an evening here one of the highlights of our holiday. The restaurant is very modern with hi spec furnishings and although it is a bit out of the way it is well worth a visit.

We were very surprised at the negative reviews as we had a fabulous evening here. Service was impeccable, really friendly and helpful (great wine recommendations) and lovely with the children. The food was fantastic, even the kids meals presented really nicely as well which is a nice change. Food was excellent we couldn't fault it and we all felt the... More

Had a meal here on Sunday night, as close to our hotel and the reviews were mostly positive. Very disappointed as it took an age to come out and 3 of our dinners were cold - I think they had forgotten about them in the dumb waiter. Complained and they took them away. After asking where they were (again took... More

Not knowing a good restaurant in Albufeira, we went on adventure mode throught the center of town. From outside the restaurant was very cosy and charming, with a recent Tripadvisor recomendation. Helpfull service at table, we choosed dishes from the daily menu: 3 grilled calamari, 1 octopuss, 1 tuna steak, 1 lamb ribs, 2 beef steaks. This order took more... More

This place was hard to find, but once we were in we were seated at a table by the window and the waiter was very good at taking our order promptly and was very pleasent. The prawn starters were plentiful but the chef special suckling pork was awful. The pork chops were so dry I couldn't believe it. On reflection... More

On arrival the restaurant seemed really nice and the servers friendly and helpful. We ordered our meal. 40 mins later it still hadn't arrived! The children were starving and getting v agitated. When my husband went up to pay for our drinks and to say we were leaving the owner wouldn't let us leave unless we paid for the meal... More

We were tonight at this local restaurant in Guia, a little outside of Albufeira centre, as recommended by our hotel. The food was really smashing. This Chef has a fantastic talent of combining extra ordinary tasts. Really special. From his selction of Tapas, a bar, buffet of about 15-20 dishes, all marvellous. A home made marmalade with cheese, unbelievable. We... More
