The hidden patio is charming and the wait staff friendly and English speaking. We had the Evora Tasting Sampler and it was perfect to share with a glass of wine. Many by the glass, more by the bottle.

We visited the Pateo wine bar twice and found the atmosphere, service, wine and food really excellent both times. A ace on Evora.

A hidden gem. Tucked away in a courtyard it is has a laidback atmosphere with a professional service. The staff were fantastic, always greeted us with a handshake and smile. We would pop in every evening after work snd were always greeted the same. This is a must for anyone visiting evora.

We visited Pateo during our stay in Evora one evening having read good reviews. The waitress was very friendly and efficient despite being really busy. The open air terrace was fairly full and there was a nice relaxed atmosphere. We had a selection of tapas type dishes to start including migas n local melted cheese which were good. Followed by... We stumbled upon this gem tucked in an Evora courtyard. Good solid food that is gentle on the wallet. Perfect for families, couples or just grabbing a glass of wine after a day of sight seeing.

We enjoyed the peaceful feeling of this attractive cafe as we sat under its lemon and olive trees for a tasty lunch. The service was attentive and friendly, the menu offered a nice selection of sandwiches, salads, main dishes and tapas. It managed to be right in the center of things and yet out of the chaos all at the... More

Although we drank only wine, we were experienced super service by the young crew. The regional wines were delicious, the ambiente in the courtyard was quiet and romantic. The waiter also gave us tips for our visit in Lisbon.

While taking a walk around the city we found this little gem of a place. The service and quality of food was incredible and I look forward to going back. I would highly recommend the prawns which were great value and large in size.
