Friendly service, mediocre pizza

We ate here our first night in Evora, looking for a bit of a change from typical Portuguese fare. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the pizza was disappointing. It wasn't bad, it was just nondescript, almost like a store-bought frozen. The suggested wine was good, and the prices were... read more

You will be given the usual bread on arrival, only in this case it will come with garlic butter. EAT IT - it's wonderful. I think they bake the bread freshly as it was still warm, and tasted divine. Great pizzas- rivaling those we had in Napoli, the home of pizza. Very reasonable price - €25 for two with wine... More

Lovely pizzas, pastas and calzones. I've been so many times at this fantastic Italian restaurant. Considering all Italian restaurants that I have visited. It's the best one. The oweners are really receptive and friendly.

The restaurant's rock and stone interior makes for a lovely setting, like a fantastic cave with loads of atmosphere, with attentive service and an outstanding product. One quickly gets their fill of traditional Portugese cuisine (boiled potatoes and salted cod lost their appeal real soon). Having eaten Italian pizza in Italy, and Turkey and Greece, we had high standards and... More

This modest restaurant serves tasty, but very greasy Portuguese versions of Italian typical dishes (pizza, tortellini gratinati, etc..). We tried a pizza and a pasta dish and they were both rather heavy. We drank white lambrusco and received a bill of less than 30 Euro that made it worth the visit.
