Did have trouble finding a staff member to serve me but the milk coffee gelato took me back to get another the next day. A single serve is €1.90 and two scoops is €2.90 ! Don't use the bathrooms , just buy the gelato.

I had a coffe and pastry wich was dry, to say the least. It used to be a very traditional coffee, but now belongs to a fanchise. The bathrooms were unspeakably dirty, and it was about 11 am. Would not want to look at the kitchen...

This old style self-service in the cafeteria staff were polite. Great natta were just baked that morning when we went in for breakfast. Seem to be a lot of locals in there.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and a queijada. Was excellent value for money and was perfect after a morning walking around the streets of Evora. Staff were friendly, there was a great selection of drinks, pastries and cakes, and all at a very reasonable price. We also had soup and a sandwich which were great - can't fault this... More

I love this place for it's atmosphere, honest food and excellent pastries - that's why I keep coming back. After reading several negative critics about the staff I really cannot relate with them. Sure enough you have to deal with self-service in the cafeteria area and the waiters will not give you a VIP treatment, but they are efficient and... More

The little cakes were absolutely delicious - my favorite ended up being the almond one. The traditional is cheese, and it was OK, but the almond was better. These are great to get as take-out and eat them during your Evora walking tour or sightseeing. They also keep great to be either breakfast or a mid-morning snack the next day.... More

An historic coffee shop in the heart of the city, nowadays is ugly, poor service and have a lack of soul. Is good to make money, nothing more, even the terrace is ugly! With such history, could be so much more... being in the main square is not enough! The only thing that i like is the small cakes made... More

It was very cold when I was visiting Evora so I selected an inside dining experience both times I visited Cafe Arcada. The service is a bit strange. You belly up to the bar, order your stuff and take your tray to a table of your choice. The atmosphere is nice enough, the staff accommodating but a bit aloof. Mind... More
