Great experience

Hard to find but worth it. We were lucky on our only day here to get the last 2 stools in this resto which only has 9-10 places at the counter. It's sort of like a sushi bar in Japan. The affable owner serves you each dish personally and makes you feel very special which is part of the charm... read more

If you are looking for typical food from Alentejo and you are near by, you have to go to "Botequim da Mouraria". Just one advice, be there at 19:00 for dinner, if you go later you might see the place overbooked and will have to come another day. That happen with me, but I have no regret because it was... More

The smallest Tapas bar in the world seating only 10 customers! Excellent wines and delicious snacks. There's also a main meal menu. The best almond and hazelnut cake ever and I don't eat puds! A must in Evora?

It is a small place where you sit at the bar to eat. The food is fantastic and authentic and you have a great selection of local wine. Let the owner guide you in your choices and have a typical alentejano meal. Well worth it!

Great place: food and hosts. It's a different experience but so worth it. The owner is the server and his wife cooks. Delicious homemade food. There were locals who seem to eat there regularly waiting to be seated. Here's a tip: arrive a few minutes before the restaurant opens in other to be seated quickly. I really enjoyed taking my... The food is OK but overpriced for Portugal. If wine is suggested ask for the price otherwise you will be surprised at the end as a tourist.

You have to be lucky to have availability in this restaurant. It is not a typical restaurant since you do not have tables, but a counter with no more room than for 10 people. You have to try all the typical small dishes from this unique and different place.

We tried twice to get a seat at this place, as it is really tiny (9 persons) and they don't make reservations. Domingos and Florbela own the restaurant and make you feel you were invited to their home, as he suggests the best options and she cooks in front of you. It was really worth it, Domingos was a great... More

this was our first meal in Evora. I give it only 4 stars as the price is a bit for the area. It is more of a tapas bar then a restaurant and all the small snacks taste great but the price adds up. It is worth a visit if you have time. It is very small so go early... More

My 2nd visit to this establishment did not disappoint! Thankfully we have been here before and did not pay any attention to the last review which could lead you to believe that you would have to go to the 'rough part of the city' and be 'in fear' of being 'stolen' I highly recommend the scrambled eggs with asparagus for...
