I really love this restaurant. It has a very tipical environment and decoration. Here in Portugal, we call it "Adega" because it represents the place were the wine is storaged. Amazing food with very good Alentejo wines. Absolutely one of the best "porco preto" in town.

"Adega", which is in the name of the restaurant, means wine cellar, so you can expect a house decorated accordingly and your expectations will not be frustrated. It is nice, a wine cellar with also hunting motives/adornments. About the most important, food and service: Fair price, not expensive at all. Rich in meat, not much fish, just 2-3 traditional dishes.... More

We enjoyed our dinner here. Friendly service, good food, and a decent selection of local wines. The porco preto was excellent, and we were served a nice salad with the meal. The setting is very traditional. This was our best meal in Beja..I would recommend dining there.

Wine of the week was a great value and went perfectly with the Grilled Pork Platter for 2. Waiter was very helpful when he found out we spoke English. Lot's of locals eating there which is always a good sign Pork was flavorful and good portions. Highly recommended!

Excelent place for a typical meal. Pork is king. Good decor with large jars. We went for lunch and quickly filled. Local people and famous visitors. Friendly employees. Average price. Nice wine from local vineyards.

Nice living room like a typical Alentejo tavern, well-decorated with free WI-FI zone. Black pork as high quality, tender, well seasoned and cooked. Quality Portuguese wines and desserts. Small amounts of food, relative to the final price. The service is good, friendly staff but a bit slow because there were only two employees for many tables. In Beja, if you... More

3 courses + litre of house wine for 26 euros. Incredible. The pork special for two is terrific. Full on a Tuesday night when the town was otherwise quiet must be a recommendation in itself.

Serves local food. In the end ask by the liquors... Nice place in a traditional architecture. Located in the historic center.
