Loved this place!

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at this very quaint tea house. My quiche was filling and flavourful as was my husband's salad entre. We both had the sweet potato soup that was to die for. The highlight of the meal was the incredible key lime pie and the coconut cream pie. They were... read more

Very nice tea room with a nice choice of menu items for lunch. Full of antiques snd collectables that makes this a quaint place for a bite to eat. Antique shop adjoins this tea room. Great place to eat and shop

Off Hwy. 2 in Desoronto, you will discover this charming Victorian style tea room which reminds us of a time when people took their afternoon tea seriously. Done up in lovely soft colours, with delightful antique furniture, and a marvellous collection of vintage china to pique your interest, this little restaurant does not disappoint when it comes to service, presentation,... This is absolutely a hidden little gem. It transports you back to the old English era. The food was incredible. So fresh and beautifully presented. Do not miss this for a lovely afternoon tea experience.

This was the 4th time I've eaten at the O'Connor House in 3 years. This visit was on a Saturday & the wait wasn't long at all. I chose the quiche special followed by a chocolate sundae just to see the presentation, lol. The food was great as usual especially the salad, so colourful & tasty. The sundae was beautifully... Had not been at O'Connor House Tea Room before but had heard great things about it, and I was not disappointed. The quiche and salad were delightful. People at the next table were having scones and tea .... and I certainly will go back and try that out.

I was here last year with some friends and took my husband, daughter and granddaughter here today for lunch. They were as impressed with the food and the ambiance as I was the first time around. The staff is friendly and prompt and the food cooked to perfection. The cauliflower soup was the best. Will certainly be back again. I... More

After passing through Deseronto many times via hwy 2, I ventured off to find the real main street and a charming town. The English Afternoon teas are wonderfully presented. The same can be said of the daily soup, sandwiches and specials.Worth a visit.
