I ate here for the second time, last September after visiting a year ago May & liking it for brunch around Mothers' Day with my husband. This time I was alone having dropped by after a doctor's appointment in Napanee. The restaurant is about an hour away from my home. This time I tried a tea tray which was beautifully... More

Absolutely enjoyed a beautiful English tea today at this marvelous tea room. Started with homemade curried squash soup followed by a fresh assortment of English sandwiches that tasted wonderful. I recommend trying the desert I had coconut cream and my friend had a fresh scone with clotted cream and strawberry preserves. Deffintly worth the drive from kingston. Recomend to all... More

my husband and I visited the O'Connor house and were very impressed !!!! Food fabulous, atmosphere stunning and service amazing!! The soup was very tasty and appropriate for the season "spiced pumpkin. " balmoral salad was prepared to perfection!! Poached with a light flavorful sauce. When we thought it couldn't get any better. The dessert "sticky toffee pudding" was presented... More

Just a joy to stop at the O'Connor House and have the English breakfast that is as good as the English breakfasts in England. Great food, great service and friendly staff. Varied menu and all good stuff. And be sure to head across the street to see the work of the master craftsman who builds kayaks and sailboats by hand.... More

How can the same place turn out picture-perfect High Tea and two-fisted sandwiches on thick slabs of homemade bread? Save room for the beautifully-plated desserts; it was my first experience with scones and clotted cream and it is much yummier than it sounds. ;-)

I loved this little tea room! We came here for brunch one Sunday and thought it was fantastic! The atmosphere takes you back in time with its older furniture and antiques (which I'm normally not a huge fan of) but it was done very tastefully and still felt "modern day". The food was fresh and fabulous and presented very uniquely... More

We make a point of eating at O'Connor House at least once a month. We travel just under an hour to get there and it is so worth the trip. The food is amazing, the decor is quaint, the staff are great...a lovely place to relax and step back in time. The restaurant is located in lovely downtown Deseronto so... More

I met my daughter-in-laws Mom there for lunch. It had been a long time since we were able to chat. The staff gave us numerous pots of tea, delivered delicious sandwiches on thick-sliced homemade bread accompanied by a VERY fresh and imaginative mixed green salad and let us split a generous piece of their homemade key lime pie. The restaurant... More
