Ab Fab yet again.....

This place is one of THE best places to eat in this area. Cannot fault it at all. Last time my friend and I had lunch here, we had a starter and it was SO large it ruined us for our main course and certainly no room for a pudding. SO this time we left out the starter and just... read more

Stopped half way round a walk in the Suffolk countryside. We only wanted a drink but we wished we were hungry when we saw some of the food that came out. Landlord very friendly and the place reminded me of what a country pub was, and should be, like. We will be back for another drink and this time also... More

This is a perfect pub: friendly welcome, good beer, delicious and generously portioned food, great service, a bit of banter with the landlord and a chat with the guests at the next table. Dogs are welcome and the surrounding landscape is beautiful. I wish I lived here so I could come back all the time

Three us had a lovely Sunday lunch two of us had roast pork which was lovely and the crackling was amazing. The other one had vegetarian risotto and again it was perfect. Really nice old pub very friendly. Dog friendly too. I would highly recommend

This pub is a typical English Country Pub that has kept its local charm in buckets. The welcome from not only the Landlord but the locals as well was wonderful. We were made to feel welcome straight away. If you’re looking for a typical old English pub with the service and food quality of a top restaurant this is it.... More

My Wife & I had a great evening in this lovely old Pub. Serve a good pint of Light & Bitter and reminded me of living back in the East End back in the day. Food in the restaurant was excellent, all at a very reasonable price. We hope to revisit the next time we are in the area.

We visited here yesterday. We have never heard of the Bell inn or visited Middleton before. At this point we hadn't checked out the reviews on TA either. We entered a fairly quiet bar area and asked whether they were still serving food and the landlord said no. Sorry, only joking he said. Odd response and for a nano second... More

Great value great food great host. For our office Christmas dinner we chose this local pub, having in previous years been to more well known, and more expensive "hotel / pub / restaurants" in the near vicinity. This topped the lot, the food was superb, very generous portions of quality not processed meat with proper vegetables and roast potatoes. Landlord... More

Nick at the Middleton Bell is great-always kisses the ladies from 18 to 80-maybe more or less! A great host and the food is fantastic-only grumble is-too much! If you love your food a great place to eat and great quality-adore the place and always a great welcome-but please book if possible! Much success to you Nick-Terry and Cathy-xx
