EXCELLENT

When staying at the nearby Cliff house Caravan Park we always have a meal at The Bell Inn. We always find the landlord very welcoming and his staff excellent. The food is always of a very high standard and good value for money. See you in September. Mr leech x 3

The Bell is a beautiful traditional old English pub only 10 minutes from us, in a pretty Suffolk village. We quite often take visitors there. Nice drop of Adnams and the food is very good, reasonably priced, and they have several veggie options. They have also done me a veggie stater as a main, and will make up doggie bags if... More

As we were staying at a B&B in Middleton, we were recommended to try the Bell Inn a short walk away from where we were staying. I had booked as advised to do so on a Friday evening and a good job we did, the place became full in no time and some folk were turned away. A 'chocolate box'... More

Staying in Middleton, which is a sweet village we love that you can walk very easily to the pub, which we do at least once during our stay. We had a drink there on our first night and then dinner a few days later. It was very good (fish pie/steak/duck followed by ice cream) cider and Adnams drunk. It was also a... More

This is a superb pub/restaurant in a pretty village. Adnams excellent beer, and a good varied menu. We had liver and bacon which was delicious. The portions being rather large (and very good value for money) I asked if they did half portions - and they do - if possible - halving the ducks egg in the ham, egg and... More

We are staying in Middleton on holiday and as this is our local pub we had to visit as it would be rude not to! The food was excellent. Freshly cooked, piping hot and generous portions. I had the pan fried chicken and hubby demolished the pork chop. Both were superb. Being an Adnams pub hubby felt obliged to have... More

Just turned up after driving down lots of narrow country roads in our old little sports car looking for The Bell in Middleton. Found it, no problem. A lovely olde worlde pub. Food excellent, atmosphere wonderful. Staff and Landlord brilliant. Highly recommended. We were very lucky that there was a table free, best to book to avoid disappointment.
