A very old pub, full of atmosphere and friendly welcome. Good for a pub lunch - reasonable prices and good choice of menu. Our bill was 71 pounds for four people having main courses and two starters, including drinks (I think two pints, four glasses of wine and a soft drink) so I think the price is reasonable. http://kerseybell.co.uk/

During a fishing trip to Minsmere my husband and his brother popped into the Bell Inn for evening dinner. Although fully booked the land lord managed to find a table for 2 (Although they had to order as soon as possible). The starter of Prawns and Crayfish Cocktail was HUGE. Excellent value for money. My husband had Fish and Chips... More

We booked a holiday cottage within walking distance do The Bell. Little did we know that it was so popular that we would have to wait 4 (yes 4) days before we could get a table! We had 2 evening meals there and they we excellent. Larger portions than were good for us but we were on our holidays so... More

Booking is essential especially later in the week. We had a couple of meals here and there was only one table left on the second occasion. There is a good choice of food being offered from your Gourmet Burger to a Pan Fried Duck including 4 fish dishes, all displayed on menu boards. Prices were exceptionally good value for money... Took my wife and some relatives for a Sunday lunch. Really enjoyed it, genuinely warm welcome from the landlord, great choice of on-site cooked food, good service and reasonable prices. Look forward to another visit when we are back in the area.

Have just returned to our holiday accommodation in Reydon after a fantastic meal at the Bell Inn. The landlord was friendly & helpful as were the rest of the staff. And as for not letting dogs in ( see previous comment) what a load of rubbish. The landlord couldn't have been more welcoming & friendly to our 2 Labradors he... More

Second time at this pub and again very enjoyable. Great beer and good honest food, I had the Cheddar ploughman's and Nix had the Suffolk ham on granary well presented and extremely tasty. It may seem a little strange to mention the presentation but I work in a kitchen and whatever people say you do eat with your eyes, a... More

We were staying in the area and were recommended The Bell Inn for both food and draught beers. We had to book as it is very popular and no wonder the food is honest and very very good. Would we go again , most definitely .

My partner & I took my mother and her elderly friend to The Bell Inn for lunch, on our way to Southwold. I had read that it welcomed dogs, so we took our small (and very well behaved) dog with us. The public bar area was very cramped, with only 2 tables that were occupied and several people just standing... More

this heading alone is totally unjustified. as all of our customers know, we are very dog friendly -we have more dog treats than crisps behind the bar. we do not allow dogs in our restaurant, in line with nearly every pub/restaurant. there were only 2 tables free in the restaurant and based on customer feedback, they do not want a...
