Located on the Grote Markt in a line of restaurants on the sunny side of the square. The outdoor seating fills up quickly on a nice day. We enjoyed two very well presented salads for lunch. There was also a very good value set lunch for €17. Good food good service.

We went there two time during our stay in Belgium. First was at lunch time. Their lunch set menu was fantastic. Best price-quality i have ever came across. The second time we went with our relatives of four for dinner. Had foie gras terrine for starter and wild duck for main course. Both dishes we very well prepared and presented.... More

Biking through Kortrjik we had the pleasure of stopping in at Cesar's for an absolutely perfect lunch on their elegant patio overlooking the Grote Markt. Everything on the menu looked wonderful and the staff were very friendly. Despite the number of excellent a la carte options we went with the set lunch menu (appetizer, main and coffee for 17 euro).... More

Company meal. Booked in advance with a set/choice menu. Excellent selection of wine with each course of the meal. Amazing rib-eye steak. The fish which colleagues ordered was superb. The staff were at the top of their game for attentiveness. Dessert looked exceptional but I had to bow out. Recommend for a celebration business meal or impress a client.

This was a random choice. Set in a square of cafés and limited web access, I just went with the busiest looking place. Lucked out. I ordered the tournedos and it completely slayed me. Cooked to perfection, the steaks and the service and the effortless attention to details would shame the best London restaurants. And where am I again? I... More

Had a business diner at the Brasserie Cesar recommended by our hotel concierge and I was not disappointed! The food was excellent and the service very friendly and efficient. Good choice of wine. Not cheap though.

Very good attentive service with European focus on timing ie dinner is not a rushed event. Food was excellent, the steaks are well worth a look in if you like red meat. Cost €130 for 2 people 2 courses and a bottle of wine. Good value!

Went to dinner on a Monday night and found the food very good, fresh tasting and well presented. Downside is the prices, very expensive on par with high end London restaurant for brasserie foods and service was very slow. When we were there the restaurant was not that busy but took an eternity to have plates cleared.

We arrived at 21.30 hours and the very big resaturant was full. We had a reservation and got a nice table. I had the sweet bread croquette and my husband the fois gras. Both very good. I got the cod for maincourse and my husband the steak cesar. Raw meat that they prepare at your table. They come with the... More
