The new menu has a "degustation" selection for 45€ that is just unbelievable. 5 courses and one outdoes the other. First the 3 tappas, then tuna tataki, then the best miso soup you ever had followed by scallops. The main dish is cod a la flamande and if you still have room for dessert then enjoy the chocolate pastry. Service... More

A very disappointing recommendation by my hotel. The fish chunks in the visoep were boiled to the point of ruberryness, the little shrimp looked like shriveled ... and the sole tasted OK but were heavy with butter and oil. I was most impressed by the way they cut the lemon halves, leaving a little "lip" so that your dinner guests... More

The menu is cosmopolitan and there is something for everyone including vegetarian. The owner works hard and his staff do more than keep up. We go there regularly and have never been disappointed. They used to have sashimi, and hopefully it will come back on the menu.

Good value for money is not easily found in a touristic spot, but at Bottarga you can count on freshness. The meal salads are just gorgeous and presented in a tempting new style with respect for the main ingredients being meat, cheese, fish or seafood. The traditional "steak tartare" ( minced beef ) is prepared on the spot and really... More

We are a loyal client to this restaurant in the last 3 years. A modern, loungy interior and a fusion cuisine with also excellent local dishes. The "Tomaat Garnaal" is just excellent with a massive amount of superfresh shrimps. Also try the steak tartare if you dare. And the staff is friendly with a perfect service. Not to forget the... Nice atmosphere in Bistro Bottarga, and a varied menu. 8 of us ate here, and all enjoyed our meals. They were happy to accommodate younger kids, and the service was friendly. Lovely location looking out at the sea.

Very nice restaurant on the promenade.. very good food, quick service and with a smile (and we were a party of 25 people). Good atmosphere as well and cosy interior. Views of course splendid as you are looking out on the beach!

I had tried this restaurant last year and loved it, so I made sure to go again yesterday. The food was really delicious and I may have written the place up. The restaurant is still nice and trendy, but the food was a bit of a disappointment. My risotto was overcooked to the point of being mushy, the batter on... More

Good food and I had an excellent steak tartare, prepared at the table. My friends had oriental food and they were happy too.
