great atmosphere, exceptionally child friendly, very good diner. We ware six adults and eight children from eighteen months to eight years. The children were even invited to make there own ices in the kitchen. The place to eat in Ostend!

I've been visiting this restaurant for years now each time I go to Oostend. They serve traditional good food. The Bouilabaise is one of the best I have ever eaten. Their proposed menu's are not expensive at all and are always tasty. A nice touch serving the soup from a big bowl as grandma did and they leave it on... More

I do not recommend this place at all ! Having been there for a first time (as the positive reactions convinced me to give it a try), it was a huge disappointment from beginning till end. The small tables are so close to one another that you can just follow the conversations of the tables next to you. Regular visitors... More

Just been back here for first time in a year, great as ever, had the Sunday menu with duck and apricots, fish quiche, soup, and dessert plus a nice Saint Verain. Lots of choice with a couple of cod or salmon main options and another fish, numerous starters including some nice croquettes and a crevette salad that fellow diners enjoyed.... More

Beeing seaside we wanted to eat some seafood and found this small restaurant. First of all, when we saw the menu, we were very suprised about prices, which were expensive. But we decided to try because at least we were hoping to enjoy the meal. Unfortunately were were dissapointed, because even with this price ( for example 2 small tomatoes... More

Dinner here was a very disappointing experience. It took more than 35 minutes for any of our food to arrive while two sets of diners who came into the place had gotten their food sooner. The woman serving was very impersonal, had an haughty attitude and did her service in a perfunctory manner. My partner had a green salad which... More

Pleasently situated at the Promenade overlooking the beach and the North Sea this restaurant offers a very good and fresh bouillabaisse and other lovely dishes from the sea. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended!

Great for seafood, set menu with different choices, also steak, affordable, amiable service, intergenerational clientele, great views on seaside, especially on night when Ostende is illuminated by fantastic fireworks

This was a return visit for us. For years a friend owned a flat in Oostende and we partied there every New Year, eating here every New Year's Day when they do a celebratory menu with wine matching each course. No wine matching going on the night of our visit, but a good wine list and truly excellent food. It... More
