This was a return visit for us. For years a friend owned a flat in Oostende and we partied there every New Year, eating here every New Year's Day when they do a celebratory menu with wine matching each course. No wine matching going on the night of our visit, but a good wine list and truly excellent food. It... More

Honest kitchen, no-nonsense service, healthty daily dish, great sabayon and flan. Yes, this is a casual place to come back to on the Ostend seafront.

only a few steps from the Ostend Casino, you must be lucky to find some good seats without reservation, the mostly regular customers are friend of the family, the restaurant is small but very cosy, Peter and Michèle are always ready to attend special requests, the catfish "in papillon" was delicious, the house wine was excellent, we will return

nice small restaurant with fantastic shrimp croquettes and delicious Bouillabaisse. The host is very friendly, a lot of fine humour and nice suggestions. And a beautifull panorama on the North Sea and Belgian Coastline. we come back here to taste the rest of the menu in this cosy family runned restaurant

I have been there by the end of May with my football team, we didn't book any table and it was around 9 pm, and we were 18!! Despite of all, we've been received by the owners with a great service, kindness, and professionality by the waiter. The soup fish (bouillabaisse) was simply fantastic! After the second round of it... More

Been there with 17 friends without reservation and we have been served quickly and properly. Bouillabaisse is their speciality and i personally must say (but many of my friends agreed) it is the best reason (not the only one) to have dinner in this restaurant. It was served with endless fresh fish (the gentle lady kept on re-fill all the... More

We reserved this restaurant for a Sunday brunch because we read from trip advisor reviews that this establishment was child friendly. We took the Sunday menu and it was a good choice. There was a kids menu also which my son enjoyed. He got to choose a dessert from inside the kitchen which was a nice touch - and very... More

Great restaurant! Very friendly service and children are very welcome: with a good quality child menu (veg soup & dover sole filets with fries, mash or rice and an ice-cream that the child can pick out in the kitchen). The fish soup (bouillabaisse) is just unbelievably good and contains a large number of nice pieces of fresh fish. Though a... More

On the beach but without good outdoor seating area. Food was average minus and waiter was abrupt, telling me what I wanted to eat. Dinner came with potato/rice and no option for substitution with vegetable or salad. When my husband pointed out that he was getting risotto with squid (not very good and not prepared as risotto), he was told... More
