Good experience, would go back...

Delicious hamburger for him and tasty penne pasta dish for me. Extra points for the wide assortment of loose leaf teas they offer!

Very nice finger buffet style starters, and tasty main dish (meatballs). I'm guessing you'd be best to eat here out of season, as the hard surfaces inside make the place so noisy you can't relax. East outside and choke on the cigarette fumes!

This is in my opinion one of the friendlist restaurant's on the promenade with some of the best down to earth staff in Ostend. We were walking down the prom clearing the cobweb's from our head's were we had a beer or ten to many the night before. We spotted this restaurant as it was just opening for the day's... More

We ended up having dinner here after we first stopped by for a quick drink. The choice on the menu is not big, but offers something for everybody. We had some very nice shrimp croquettes with chips. The music and atmosphere were excellent.

The nice part is that when they opened a few years ago, they had the aim to be in the end the only place on the beach pier where insiders would go back. And they had a very nice and simple cooking style, like classics revisited. Nowadays, this ambition seems to have melted. Just very basic tapas are served or... More

As coffeelovers we have had difficulties finding a good cup of coffee until we read about this place. We had a cafe latte and a coffee and I must admit that, at least for me, it was the best cup of coffee we have had in Ostend. Also: they offer a wide variety of gin & tonic, so if you... More

I was visiting Bruges with my friend and did a day trip to Ostende. I investigated places to have lunch prior to our visit and booked a table as the reviews seemed to suggest it wasd the place for us. The terrace is fine, and similar to a lot of the other places along the front in Ostende. It does... More

awesome ambiance, very sixties, seventies... Mix of young and old people. Good selection of drinks and beers, best mojito in town. Snacks and salads are tasty, good size portion and normal prices

We like it especially for afternoon snacks, drinks or apero. You have to try their snack with ham of black porks. Histoire d'O has a nice choice of wines as well and this with a nice view on the sea,

They advertise extensively to be expert barista's. I asked for espresso macchiato and I got a latte macchiato. When I said that it was incorrect they started to argue. The customer is king, is always right. Eventually I accepted the latte macchiato, which was good, but not what I asked for. Now looking further to find an expert barista....
