We booked for two via email about a week in advance and were lucky enough to get a table on a busy Monday night. When we arrived we were kindly greeted by the manager and shown to our table. The restaurant was cosy, seating around 20 and had a brilliant atmosphere. Both the evening menu and the wine menu were... More

Travel to Bruges, Belgium regularly so have been to many restaurants over the years. The lamb was spot on and cooked exactly as requested. You may pay a few more euros than the 'Tourist' restaurants but its worth it. One of my top favourites in Bruges, will always go back

We ended up at De Stove after we were unable to make reservations at our restaurant of choice. We strolled the streets trying to find somewhere interesting, and stumbled on this unassuming exterior. We were offered a table for two despite no booking, were never rushed, and enjoyed lovely authentic cooking in an intimate setting (it's not a big place).... More

This restaurant lives up to its billing. We booked well in advance which was wise as it was full. The plainly decorated room only caters for around 20 diners, and unlike many other places there was no rush to move anyone on. This may not suit anyone who wants a more lively night out. All our food was freshly prepared... More

We got the hotel to book this at their recommendation when we arrived in Bruges. Just as well as they turned away enough people to fill the restaurant while we were there. The team I understand is a husband and wife team, the wife doing the front service and the husband the cooking. We had been to a couple of... More

A very intimate restaurant close to the center run by a husband and wife team. The lobster served with the shell off was a real treat, no fussing about with implements! Everybody really enjoyed their food, plus the deserts were wonderful, really recommend eating there if you visit bruge

We had the speciality meal including wine. This included an appetiser + 4 superb courses + coffee + generous servings of 3 different wines. Good value for 65 Euros pp. Will book again the next time we visit Brugge.

I'd read a glowing review in the Lonely Planet guide and made a reservation for my recent stay in Bruges. I was not disappointed. De Stove is a small, elegant, intimate, unpretentious restaurant with a sizable loyal clientele- the night I went, I believe I was the only customer who was coming 'off the street' (with a reservation, which is... My wife and I had a classical but excellent meal here a short while ago. Very professional from A to Z.
