Blues and boogie on a Sunday night

Wijnbar Est is tiny, and the tables are squeezed into every space. Small and crowded, but the warm accommodating owners make you feel like you're sitting in their living room. The tapas are reasonably priced since the are top shelf cheese meats. The wine selection both interesting and complete. You will not be disappointed.

January is a quiet month in bruges but thankfully we were pointed towards Est after a long days travelling. A wonderful welcome into this cost little bar. We sampled a number of fine wines - just to finish off the bottles, hate to waste them together with the grand tapas. A delightful evening and highly recommended.

We stopped here before going to Pro Deo. I found this on here and thought it worth a try as it is an actual wine bar and given that Bruges is full of beer, thought it would make a nice change! Lovely cosy place, very small but has an upstairs. They do food - tapas style and they also do... More

We visited the wine bar on our last night in Bruges. We ended up staying quite a while as the atmosphere was lovely and a bonus was the live music. We didn't eat here other than a dessert (delicious!) there is a decent selection of quality wines by the glass. The hostess is very welcoming and it made a lovely... More

Our host recommended this restaurant and we ate here on a Sunday evening, choosing to visit because of the live music. Although we enjoyed the music, we were almost sitting on the musician's knee as our table was so close! The menu choice was pretty small but the food was tasty and adequate. The wine however, was sublime. Just wish... More

My friend and I found out about this gem of a wine bar in our guide book. This is the best bar in Bruges if you are seeking brilliant wines. Cheap prices. The bar serves food however we didn't eat here. The bar is very quirky and comfortable, if you want to visit I strongly recommend booking a table or... More

Look up location on map first it can easily be missed and if you want a seat book as it is limited in space. The staff are friendly and it's lovely to go somewhere more unique. A large selection of good wines, it doesnt open until 4pm so if you are looking for something earlier try Cuvee couldnt find it... More
