On the recommendation from out hotel we went here for dinner. Great ambience, good service. Steak had little flavor, pasta was good. Too pricey for what we had.

Bruges is full of restaurants and Cafedraal was very expensive compared to it's rivals and our service wasn't very good at all so my advice would be to give this place a miss. I was part of a group of 20 who had pre-booked a two course set menu but Cafedraal were unwilling to make changes to accommodate the needs... More

I've known this place for years now, but I've never written a full review. So here it goes: Cafédraal is a real gem in the centre of Bruges. If the weather is nice, you can have a seat on the terrace (which is most likely to be the most beautiful terrace in the city) or sit inside. The interior is... More

Gorgeous patio setting, lovely food, great service, would go again! Found it by accident when searching for somewhere to go for lunch, great find.

We were here for lunch while touring Brugge. We booked online and they had our reservation. We opted to sit outside in a lovely courtyard but a sudden shower of rain forced us inside for the main course - no problem though. There is a set two-course lunch menu (€17) but we opted to go a la carte, We shared... More

This was one of the several restaurants wisely recommended by our Bruges hotel, the Princenhof. If you try this restaurant, do not waste your time reading the menu. Simply order a whole boiled lobster (you can greet them in a tank when you enter). For 45 euros, it was a steal: perfectly cooked, large, juicy, and so well timed that... More

We reserved a table for 2pm for lunch, but on seating were told that the set lunch menu was no longer available as we were 'too late'. This set the tone for the meal unfortunately, and we felt the service by both the two waiters that served us was brusque and that we were being rushed. For example, I ordered... More

We visited this restaurant after a recommendation from our hotel - the Duke's Palace - and we were not disappointed. It was everything they had promised. The beautiful courtyard garden was delightful and very atmospheric making the whole evening very special. The food was excellent and the staff very helpful and attentive but never intrusive. We wanted to sample a... More

My husband really wanted to eat here after reading about it in a guide book. We thought that being a busy Friday night with no reservation we may not stand a chance but the staff were very accommodating and found us a lovely table outside. It was in their enclosed courtyard with beautiful trees around us and felt very private... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and it was lovely to find a place away from the hubbub of the main square. We have visited Bruges many times before but only eaten at restaurants in passing. Cafedraal is hidden away off the beaten track but certainly within the tourist quarter. Service was exemplary - attentive but not intrusive. They... More
