Lovely seafood

It's law, you must eat mussels and also waffles when in Bruges. You should also eat Waterzooei, a creamy fish soup with all sorts of meaty chunks of fish in it. My wife had mussels and I had the Waterzooei. The waiter made it clear that the mussels were not in season locally and so were imported... read more

We couldn't miss eating mussels and frites though we were told that it was not the best season. We walked in for a late lunch, received the menu and realized that the mussels are from New Zealand and lobster from Canada. Quite unexpected... We decided to stay as it was late and most other places were closed. The mussels were... More

We had the mussels in cream and white wine, and mussels in provencal manner. Frites were delicious as were the mayonnaise accompaniments, all complemented by a fine house white wine from Bordeaux.

For us, there are two very different reviews to be shared here. The food was very good -- straightforward, fresh, well-prepared. The place is clean and well located. We would strongly recommend it -- except -- there's a waiter employed here who ought not be in any service business whatsoever. As he was clearing the remainders of the mussels and... More

We had both the garlic and the white wine and cream moules and I can't fault them. Simply delicious. Service was quick and attentive, a lovely modern restaurant with friendly staff. I'd be going back again if we were here longer.

We went here for a birthday meal. Portions were generous and well presented. My partner's smoked salmon starter was very good and my squid salad with coriander and vinegar dressing was delicious. However, the portion was so large that the bouillabaisse that followed (very good too!) was hard to finish. Service was friendly and efficient, but the only drawback was... More

Visited this restaurant in February! The food was fabulous and the staff lovely! Don't listen to the miseries! Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for!

This was recommended by our hotel and I am so glad we listened to them. Excellent seafood, great service, and while it was not cheap, we thoroughly enjoyed it. I would think a reservation is a must as it is not a large place. We were in Belgium and the Netherlands for 18 days and this was probably the best... More

I was very disappointed by the way of their waitress treated us. She almost ruined our holiday. 40mins after entering the restaurant, our drinks were served finally. She explained they lost the ticket. She said sorry but her attitude is rather angry than sorry. After 10 minutes from that, we asked if they our food order had lost as well... More

Friendly welcoming staff and the menu looks good. We only went here on a trip advisor recommendation that the muscles the best in town. This might have been the case is we had visited at a time of year they where in season. Anyway we were advised that as they were off season the head waiter recommended we choose something... More
