A really fabulous experience, run by people who are passionate about local food & providing a uniquely charming experience, the interior is quirky, cosy and the big fire place welcomes you in, the menu consists of 4 starters, mains & deserts, all locally sourced and cooked to perfection, our host made us feel perfectly at ease and provides lots of... Visited here 20th November. Lovely quirky place set in an old building. A lovely huge fire greets you on entering this 17th century restaurant. The menu is in Flemish and the charismatic owner takes time to explain it to you. We had duck terrine which was very flavoursome and sea bass which was cooked perfectly. The whole bill with drinks was... More

A truly unique experience. This restaurant run by two very experienced brothers offers a quirky but great experience. They only have 10 tables and do one sitting so do not be late otherwise you will loose your table and that's fair enough as it's very popular and they cannot support no shows..... Great food. One of our best ever dinning... More

A lovely restaurant with a large open fireplace providing a very romantic setting indeed, it really does feel like youre stepping back into time and dining in a beautiful inn. The starters were good enough but I felt a bit pricey for what they where, this was more than made up with a beutifully cooked piece of Dover Sole, one... More

relaxed (only one sitting per night) and warm setting with great food. If you've booked and change your mind, let them know! The night we were there 6 people didn't show up - such a shame as others could have enjoyed the experience.

This place is like stepping into a restaurant right out of the pages of Lord of the Rings. A restaurant has been in this location for 400+ years, but the current owners have renovated it to an amazing blend of old world meets new world. You are greeted by a giant fireplace when you arrive that warms the entire place... More

Place was a little away from the hustle and bustle which is Brugge. Nice quiet street, cute red corner house. Roaring fire greeted us a we entered and the whole evening was enjoyable and relaxing. I had scallops which were perfectly cooked and my husband had venison which melted in his mouth. But the best was the panna cotta desert... More

Greeted by a roaring fire and equally warm hospitality, our evening was a delight from start to finish. The amuse bouche of shrimp bisque and duck rillettes was a real treat. The menu was predominated by game and fish and both our courses were outstanding. With only 10 tables and one seating per night, booking is essential. Two courses and... More

We booked dinner here as a treat for our first night in Bruges, and were delighted with the whole experience. Arriving at Pomperlut you realise this is a bit different - it looks like a fairytale house from the outside, with hints of what is to come. Going through the door we had to push aside a heavy curtain then... More
