Perfect!

We wanted to go to the waffle place next door, but they weren't open in the morning. So we tried this place out. Ended up eating every breakfast here! They loved our dog and we're just great people! Great bagels, cakes, coffee and a wonderful breakfast. A really pleasent place to seat, great survice and a very tasty food. Everything is done with loads of love, and attention to the smallest details. We came back the next day.

We had breakfast at the ginger bread. The pepole here are the nicest and the service is excellent. The coffee and food is great. For morning they serve fresh beagles that are delicious.

I had a breakfast there and it was very delicious. The prices are very nice and everything is very cute inside the restaurant. The staff were a little disorganized but very friendly.

Quick note - be sure to have cash - no cards what a charming friendly and delicious little cafe, so refreshing from the formulaic offerings elsewhere. The team as so welcoming nothing is too much trouble. Loved having breakfast from their quaint little floral plates speciality is bagels (very light not typical dense ones) and cakes - whats not to... More

There are a multitude of tea rooms and side street cafés to choose from in the Market Place. Set back just off centre there's the Gingerbread Tea-Room a quaint little place that can cater for about 20 people. The menu offers the traditional Belgium treats, the homemade brownies are delicious. The owners are very warm and welcoming and as with... More

One of the most genuine, friendliest service experiences we've ever had. The waffles were excellent, along with the homemade lemonade and ice tea. Waffles cost between around €8-€10, along with the dining experience they were well worth it.

The food and drink here are excellent and the prices good, but that's true of many tea rooms in Bruges. You'd be hard-pressed, however, to find such a friendly and helpful staff elsewhere in Bruges. Perhaps it's because of the hordes of tourists that descend on this town that encourages the staffs of many restaurants and tea rooms to be... More

We made a detour to find the Gingerbread Tea-Room around lunchtime for tea and cake to find that although the menu is short, they do great breakfasts, lunches plus hot chocolate, tea, coffee and cakes. I had a raspberry cheese cake - a cake rather than "cheesecake" and delicious. My cousins both had hot chocolate - one the special one... More
