Gingerbread is family run and you can easily see what difference this can make. We visited it twice and couldn't be more happy with the food and the service. Freshly cooked breakfast served by smiling people -what more to ask for. Make sure you book in advance as it tends to be very popular especially in weekends.

We we stopped off for a bite of breakfast this morning. I had a poppyseed bagel with eggs and salmon smoked and my wife had a cinnamon and raisin bagel with apple confit. We both had fresh orange juice which was delicious. The woman who served us was very sweet.

Doesn't look much from the outside but the coffee was excellent, they serve locally blended tea (try the local Lady Heroin) and have tasty homemade cakes. The cheesecake and the brownie were particularly delicious.

This is the perfect breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. The staff are so friendly and the food was delicious. They have a mixture of sweet and savoury foods with some fantastic tasty options that are all fresh. I cannot recommend this little cafe enough!

Absolutely loved this place, had to go twice on our trip. Selection of breakfast options (bagels for savoury, waffles/fruit salads etc for sweet if you prefer), all of which were great. Price was very reasonable (it was actually the cheapest but best breakfast we had). The waitress was very friendly, polite and sweet. Only regret is that we tried this... More

Came here with my family, and it was the best breakfast we have had on our 2 week trip. The family that owns and runs GingerBread are so nice and helpful. We were even asked by the chef if we were enjoying our food. I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and fruit salad, and it was incredible. Large... More

Tucked down one of Bruges' quaint side streets but once in sides, fantastic food and service. Not your typical tea room but that's what made it so much better!

Nice friendly service, good hot coffee with little cakes (free) freshly squeezed orange juice all served with a smile. Offered water for our dog before we asked and explained the bagel menu. Although they don't serve crossaints (which my husband would have liked) I had the Omlette with bacon. Very nice and a lot of bacon. We will probably come... More
