Very quirky and interesting restaurant. Good menu and very funny read as there is a lot 'lost in translation' e.g.: Codfisch with a master plan!! The service was rather slow but the food was excellent when it arrived.

Like others we happened upon this quirky place to eat as we were wandering around Bruges. We ordered the local stew and sampled the local beer. We both enjoyed the meal in the quirky surroundings and had a lovely evening. We could'nt help but overhear that the couple at the next table had been charged for some items they didnt... More

This small restaurant was fabulous. I noticed it a couple time while walking to and from museums and other places ( and our hotel) so we decided to eat there- since we decided to have some local beer! ( they serve a blonde and a dark local Bruges beer) we had blonde beer- tasty, we had mussels which are in... More

We stumbled across this restaurant which is not on the main streets. The food was far superior to other food we had in the cafe's on the main streets. The barbecued ribs were, no lie, the best we have ever had. The Waterzoie (spelling?, traditional chicken soup/stew) was very tasty with fresh herbs right out of his garden. The ambiance... More

After a long and very hot day wandering at Brugge's alleys, we looked for a quiet place to relax and to have a nice meal. We found this small and cozy restaurant which entirely met our expectations. The local food was excellent, the atmosphere extremelly relaxant with good background ethnic music, and Ingrid, the restaurant co-owner, was very friendly and... More

A group of us were staying in Ostend and discovered The Habit by pure chance while on a day trip to Bruges. We called in for cold beers on a red hot day and we sat outside. Ingrid, the owner, was very welcoming and brought us extra chairs outside. There was a great selection of outstanding Belgian beers on offer... More

We needed a few hours to kill before taking the train back to Brussels to take the Eurostar home and this place was perfect. Considering the hot weather it was quite quiet, the food was very good. If I had to pick something I would say that the food was a little bit too salty however that is the nature... More

its just a poor copy of the hobbit right across the street, i have no intentions of satisfying someones ego that has blatantly copied someone else's idea from right across the street.

The restaurant was recommended by the hotel concierge. We were a large party with food allergies but they happily adapted the menu to meet our needs. Mentioning that our concierge sent us got us all a delicious banana orange cocktail which was a nice start to the meal. Would definitely recommend this little gem
